[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our whole house is Samsung including our TV’s. We love the smart things app and the ability to use our phones for our products. We got 10 years out of the washer we just replaced and I couldn’t be happier with this new updated version.

When I purchased this washer it was great. Now the washer is always displaying a U6 imbalance code. The only time my clothes spin out is when there is no clothes or very little clothes in the washer machine. I only have this issue on the last spin cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason we both this washer and dryer is because the color match of color scheme. We also were looking for a smart washer and dryer so that it would make it easy on us. Lastly the size was great for the price.

We bought this machine with the matching dryer in August of 2024. I have been using it for 10 frustrating months. I HATE it. Even on deep fill which I have to use every wash, it doesn’t use enough water to wash and rinse the clothing. The clothing constantly tangles which is very difficult to untangle. The tub is so deep I have to use a reacher tool to get my clothes out. Once out of balance, forget trying to balance it. Washing pillows comforters, blankets has to be done separately because they will never balance. I was washing my granddaughter’s clothing, pretreating them, using deep fill and soak cycle and those clothes NEVER came clean. Too many times the clothes came out with detergent on them because unless you use the “fabric softener “ option, the water won’t be deep enough to rinse the clothing. Now the real problem other than the lack of water, is the fact the washing motion is a joke. It really doesn’t move the clothing at all, and yes, I put the clothing in the “donut” shape. It does not stay in that position by the way, which is where all the clothes get tangled. I have watched a baby’s winter vest float on top of the water for the whole cycle. Detergent just sat on top of it. It never washed or rinsed off . I kept pushing it down, but without drum movement, it just kept floating up. When I say it barely moves, I mean the movement is barely perceptible. I was told that it was supposed to rotate your clothing in the donut shoe and move down through the middle and back around . It barely moves the water - no water splashes or ripples. If it can’t move the water, it can’t move the clothing. I am so entirely frustrated. Why make a machine that barely moves? That is $800+ that we have wasted and I don’t know what to do. The glass lid is a total gimmick. The condensation doesn’t allow to see a thing and the glass scratches so easily. Stay clear of this machine. It’s a waste of money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently replaced a 10-year old washer with this new Samsung. Biggest initial difference was how much quieter this unit is - hardly any noise and no vibrations. There are a ton of different settings, so you can really customize the load based on what you need to do, how dirty your items are, and how much time you have. Another nice feature for those without a sink in their laundry room is the WaterJet option. The built in agitator makes a big difference in getting your clothes cleaner in a shorter amount of time (no more clumping of items in one area of the machine). The top-load feature eliminates the musty/moldy smell that seems to appear with front load units. I've also come to really like the SmartThings app - allowing me to see how much time is required to finish the load when I'm not in the same room, or even when I'm away from home. The notifications on my phone are very handy. The user interface of both the machine and the app are very straightforward allowing for a quick learning curve. Really had no need for the manuals. Set up of the machines and the app was fast and easy as well. Really happy with this purchase so far.

I don’t even know where to start but this machine is the worst functioning appliance I have ever had. It did not even perform better than some of the cheap washing machines that were in apartment buildings when I used to rent. It constantly tangled clothes no matter how much you spread them out and how little the load. It even damaged and ripped some clothes. It did not handle comforters Well even the lightweight ones when this is supposed to be a large capacity machine. Water would be left at the bottom of the machine and clothes did not spin out well and I didn’t even have the machine halfway full. The last final thing is the electric panel went out and the machine just stopped working I only had it for a couple of years. Thankfully I had a warranty and I am now getting another machine I will be going back to my LG front load brand and buying the same model which I had for 11 years. I gave it away to my children. I am disappointment in Samsung as they used to have quality products I feel like they are now below standard and they really need to improve if they want to be around as a reliable brand. I would not recommend this machine to anyone I really hope there’s an improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving all of the settings on this washing machine. Clothes are coming out clean and well rinsed. The capacity is INSANE. I recently had house guests and in the span of a week washed linens for 5 beds. Thanks to this washing machine it was no big deal! Love the app notifications. We have a kiddo that has a separate residence on the property and he can put his clothes in and not wonder when they're finished. The app lets him know when it is time to swap them out. Also a very attractive unit. Very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I made the decision to get this washer. It has a huge 5.5 barrel after it was setup I instantly washed my king blanket. It didn’t even take up half the washer! I love that it has the handwashing nozzle and it’s easy to use with a push of a button. Definitely a life saver in moments of need.

I’ve had this washer barely 3 months and I keep having issues. won’t drain, won’t switch cycles, tub making grinding noise then stuck in lock position now the door lock not working What happened to Samsung being one of the best appliances out there. Would not reccomend

Some of the reviews I saw claimed it doesn't clean well without the old style agitator but, that has not been my experience. Coming from that older type of washing machine, there is a learning curve on getting used to this newer machine. The preset options are very handy and easy to use. Plus you can change the water temperature on all of them (unlike the heat on the dryer). It's much larger than my previous machines and can even do king size comforters. Unless using Quick Wash, it is significantly slower than my previous machine, often needing 100 minutes per load. Overall though, I'm very happy with the purchase.
