Great chair!

The Good: Easy to assemble. Looks nice. Seems well built The OK: I'm 6 ft. and my feet barely touch the floor in the lowest seating position..would prefer a little lower setting The unknown: Not sure how the bonded "leather" will hold up over time My guess based on initial reaction is that I will be disappointed when it peals, cracks etc. just after the short 1 year warranty is over...we will see....

This is my third La Z Boy desk chair in the last ten years. If you want a good one, buy it before they're all gone. This is like the first one I purchased ten years ago. Very comfortable, and it is a truly high back chair. The seat will not go flat on you after a few weeks of use like the office supply store chairs. Very easy to assemble without the need for any tools. If you want one, get it soon because Sam's will change to another model and it will not be as comfortable as this one, and you won't be able to find this model anywhere. You can not beat this chair for long work days, and the price even if it's NOT on sale is a bargain!

I got chair for my husband who is working from home. Even though he is a big guy at over 6' and over 300 lbs, he was saying that the chair padding in the front is too much and it crushes his hamstrings, making his legs sore after a few hours of sitting on it. He has tried adjusting how he sits on it, but this only temporarily helps the situation. He said chair also makes him sweat since fabric is not breathable. The chair does feel very sturdy, and honestly is probably very comfortable for someone slightly skinnier at the hips.

I'm currently sitting in the second of these chairs I've purchased. The first was purchased to use at my office, the second was purchased once we moved to working from home. I've searched extensively for a big and tall chair that is actually designed for big and tall people (6'3" - 285). I can sit comfortably for 10+ hours a day with no complaints. The lumbar support on the first chair was a bit lacking, but the second chair has a bit more fill in the lower back area. Not a huge complaint, but shows a slight difference in manufacturing standards. Another coworker has the same chair, but he's a bit rougher on his furniture than the average person - his is showing some of the signs of wear others have mentioned, but both of mine still look and feel brand new. The casters provided are sufficient for most applications, but I purchased a set of roller-blade style casters which give the chair a little extra boost in the features department. I highly recommend this chair, especially for the price. The seat area is plenty wide enough, and the reclined position is perfect for staying leaned back comfortably without feeling awkward.

5 11" 220lbs: the back has little support, the bonded leather seems pretty good. however the fact that the back lays down is a con. after 6months the latch is barley being held in place by the arm on the left side. the arm is loose and its not going to be long before the latch doesn't hold.

The card is very comfortable so very happy to have it and now my boss wants another one.
