meat was not trimmed before cutting. Too much muscle and fat in there. The pieces were too large and each had to be cut up before cooking.

I bought this stew meat so I could can it and have it for winter when I make beef stew! It's perfect!! definitely going to buy more!

It was lean, put it in my instant pot with veggies and cooked up a beef soup. Better price than at my grocery store, and leaner.

I use this in beef & broccoli stir fry. And beef & vegetable soup!!! I cut in more uniform sizes and cook on low til tender. Then use in recipes!
