Good beef for the stew. I don’t understand why beef is so expensive right now. I can’t afford to buy steak so I have to buy beef stew meat, and make chili.

I enjoy having stew meat on hand, the beef is always fresh. I repackage when I get it home into smaller portions. Since we are a two-person household it's great to have on hand. I often use it for beef and noodles or beef stew. But has many uses.

I had to cut this into smaller pieces but after that it tasted amazing in my stew. Great flavor and tenderness too. I recommend this as long as you are willing to cut it into smaller pieces. These are big enough to choke even a grown person.

Product is great, however i was not happy with the way the online shows how much you will get in an order. I needed 7 Lbs of this meat and when I added it to my cart online it showed I was getting 7 lbs based on the total price dived by price per lb. my husband picked up order and traveled the hour home just to find out I had only received 3 lbs. I wish there was a way to select how many lbs or how many packages you want.

I like to keep these on hand for stew and soups, Stroganoff, beef tips etc. The meat is not fat nor is there much grizzle. I normally use crock pot recipes so it is very tender. For beef tips I would say it is very good quality. I request 5 pounds on my order so I can separate it into 3 packages. I have no complaints and would recommend this product if you use a lot of beef tips.

They have good meat....but once uou open the pkg, it is a different color underneath. I've run into this issue often at Sam's....hardly ever at "the other store".

Pretty much mostly fat and sinew. Have purchased this many times and was always good, but never again.

This package of meat contained horrible pieces of meat. As is the custom by many butchers, the top pieces looked "OK" but not even every top piece was good. There was so much gristle and fat in the whole package of meat that I was only able to pick out about 1/4 of pieces that were good. The rest I threw out. I couldn't even find a few extra pieces that I could cook for my dog. What a darn shame. Take our money and give us scrap in return. I thought I would have enough meat to make stew that would last for at least two, maybe three days with that large amount that was in the package. Wrong!!! We had it for one day only. Take our money and give us scrap in return. Why do we curbside pickup people get the worst cuts of meat and also the older bakery items that expire within one day?? So now I will not order meat or baked goods from Sam's. They can't be trusted.

Hard to find clean ,individual cuts, more and more has lots of fats, in the pieces underneath that you can’t see, and long big pieces. Also, the tare is underestimated, weight just the meat without the packaging,you’ll see is 0.30-0.44 under weight you’re paying for

I have bought this product several times before and it was very good. However, the last package was so tough, I had to throw the entire package out. We literally could not chew it. Did a customer service chat that told me to go in person for a refund.
