Good beef for the stew. I don’t understand why beef is so expensive right now. I can’t afford to buy steak so I have to buy beef stew meat, and make chili.

A great value buy, and buy the large package so you can freeze part of it for future use. I put this in the crockpot with lots of cut veggies, spices, and diced yellow or sweet potatoes. Six hours later it is ready and melts in your mouth full of flavor!

The price when on sale is unbeatable nowadays for the size. I shop around at different stores for meat that is on sale because the prices have gotten crazy high. I do prefer Sam's due to the amount per container. I use this for steak tips with gravy and rice. Comes and tender and tasty each time.

I cook a lot and I can't keep enough stew meat in this house. The meat is so fresh and tender and for my household we go through the whole pack cooking one meal. It is convenient if you buy this large package and break it down into a few different meals. I wish I could do that but instead I buy a pack each time I go to Sam's to stock up.

I like to keep these on hand for stew and soups, Stroganoff, beef tips etc. The meat is not fat nor is there much grizzle. I normally use crock pot recipes so it is very tender. For beef tips I would say it is very good quality. I request 5 pounds on my order so I can separate it into 3 packages. I have no complaints and would recommend this product if you use a lot of beef tips.

This is usually my go to at Sam's. The past couple of times, I have been increasingly disappointed with my purchase. There has been way too much connective tissue and silver skin. So much so that I was forced to throw away almost a half pound of waste. Not only those issues, but the meat is not cut all the way through, so much so, that you have to cube it yourself. Just big chunks with slices in them.

When I came home, I separated the meat into even portions into ziploc bags- it came out to being almost a whole pound less than what the package said and what I paid for this meat. Ill have to keep an eye o. The actual weight in the future so I actually get my money's worth!

Bought this for beef stew and used it the day we bought it. The taste was terrible as it tasted like it contained liver or was spoiled. Neither my wife or I could eat it, so we threw the whole purchase out. I will not buy stew meat from SAM’s ever again. Almost $35 wasted.

Hard to find clean ,individual cuts, more and more has lots of fats, in the pieces underneath that you can’t see, and long big pieces. Also, the tare is underestimated, weight just the meat without the packaging,you’ll see is 0.30-0.44 under weight you’re paying for

I’ve purchased this Angus stew beef many times in the past through the pick up service. The beef was ALWAYS beautifully trimmed, marbled and flavorful. But this last time was simply awful - I had to trim almost every uneven piece of beef due to “globs” of fat and gristle. If I hadn’t been in a time crunch, it certainly would have been returned to the store.
