poor build

I've always wanted a Dyson because its bougie so when this went on sale I pounced. I halfway expected a miracle and anticipate no more tumbleweeds of dig hair to blow across my hardwood floors. Alas, it did not de-shed my husky, simply cleaned my floors. The cord is extremely long which means I can hit the main parts in one pass. the suction is great and I feel like my floors are a bit cleaner in comparison. It did fine on my thick and washable rugs. I am by no means athletic, and it was not a "workout" as others have claimed. Having to give the heave ho made me feel like it was cleaning extra good. All in all I'm happy with it.

We've been Dyson fans for years, until now. We purchased a new Animal 3 and found it was almost impossible to push across our carpet (plush). Dyson sent a new head that was promoted to be “easy push”. This new head is slightly better but still very difficult to push across the carpeting. I called Dyson customer service this morning and a representative said, and I quote, “maybe you should consider different carpet”.

This vacuum does not work on carpet or rugs. I’m not joking. The suction is too strong on high pile carpet, it won’t move and there is no height adjustment. On rugs, the suction is also too strong, it pulls the rug into the vacuum. Incredible….

heavy heavy vacuum. it is not efficient for a 2 story home. It has no light my last one did. The hose is very hard to use, the hose doesnt attach to anything so you can hear the air being sucked in. dont get me wrong the thing works, but its so dang heavy. i wish i still had my shark. they are light weight and have a lights on the front. i wont buy another byson. i will be selling this one to get a shark.

Beware of the implied advertising. While the images and manual clearly display a holder and a staircase / upholstery attachment the vacuum comes without them. Sam’s should have at least had the honest courtesy to mention that these attachments are not included in the special price on offer, which is definitely a good deal but not without these attachments in my opinion.

Works well but a little too much suction. I like the included attachments.

Best vacuum I've had thus far. A little heavy but super powerful

great vacuum but was already used when I got it. Didn’t know how to put it together. Other then that the vacuum is great

I love this vacuum! Please continue with this model! I had to return a Dyson Animal 3 because I couldn’t push it. This one is wonderful! Just like the one i bought 12 yrs ago! Love it
