I’m trying to like this dryer, since it was my only option as my local box store only had one dryer in stock out of 50. Please go back to making dryers like they were made in the 1970s when they were simple and efficient. You only need easy to understand knobs to select what temp you want, the length of time, and start. The large capacity is nice and the wrinkle care feature is nice. So many “bells and whistles” makes things confusing and complicated. Hopefully as I continue to use it I can eventually figure it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the large capacity of this dryer and the lent screen in the door rather than on top. I wish it had a light inside and the sensor did a better job of detecting the level of dryness for thick items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Order this product mainly because it could be side vented, either left or right. However, I spent hours to open the left hole so that the bent can come the side way. You could not knock it out with a hammer, which will only dent the outside metal. I have to drill holes around the cut lines and use different kind of snippers to cut it off. See LG could improve this and make the connection easier for consumers. A less deep dryer would even be better to fit tiny closet.

I knew from the reviews that there was no interior drum light and that is not ideal in my dark basement. I’m still getting used to the different settings which are different than I am used to but overall I like it just fine. I like the controls better than my old turn knobs that broke on 2other dryers made my different manufacturers. This is much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased Jun 2nd, received June 16th. Does not stay on. After 2 or 3 loads of drying it just shuts off and I end up having to flip the breaker on and off. Frustrated!!! On my second call for a tech to come out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few years of constant dryer repair due to a dryer that burned through heating elements and always dried way to hot, my wife and I finally bought a new dryer. After hours of research and reading reviews, we came tobthe conclusion that we were buying an LG dryer. Man, what a game changer! Clothes dry well and come out smelling fresh and clean. My wife not only likes doing laundryvagain, but even loves the tones the dryer makes when the load is finished.

Bought 4 months ago and the lint door guide is broken after normal use. LG won’t ship another under warranty. Dryer doesn’t dry in “normal mode”. If you want “high heat” you have to use heavy duty option. Clothes are always wrinkled even when removed immediately after dry cycle. Hate it.

Have never owned a dryer that resulted in more wrinkles than this one. So frustrating to have to iron clothes that should come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. Don't like the Sensor dry because often a few items in dryer are not completely dry when dryer stops running. Even the wrinkle-free button does not help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this dryer (even the chimes are pleasant). Works great. The only thing we would change is the ability to make the Energy Saver setting manual so we could turn it off until needed. The default is "on" and needs to be turned off anytime you're in a hurry drying clothes. Cool air is a wonderful energy saver but a real time-suck.

I like the dry except for two things. 1. Is there is no lite in the dryer. My old had a light and that was really nice. You can then see the clothes in the back of the dryer. 2. I don’t like the sensor. I do my clothes on delicate and you can not adjust time to run longer. Thing come out damp in places, but if the dryer senses dry it’s done after it’s time and you can’t redo it. It will only run for 5 minutes more and that’s it. Other than that the dryer is nice.
