My current washer and dryer were 20+ years old and still working, but a sale showed up and I couldn't pass it up. LG has very good ratings in Consumer Reports and my LG TV has been great so I went for it. Living in sunny Florida I usually hang my stuff out on the pool deck, but occasionally you just need a dryer. So far, so good. I usually use the timed dry because I can dry a full load of clothes in about 35 minutes. It is quiet and easy to clean the lint filter.

Been using the dryer for several weeks and it’s working perfectly. It is really easy to program the load type and I like the electronic controls. The build quality seems really good. My previous dryer lasted almost 30 years. Doubt this will match that but believe it is a good unit

They are easy to follow and the products do their job very quietly. These products have some “smart” features compared to our previous brands. We are now impressed enough to buy other LG products like a TV or cookware.

It’s been great! The main thing we were looking for was that our loads would end up very dry, which they are. We also like the other options like timed drying and, of course, the little song at the end if the cycle.

Large capacity, dries very well with less wrinkling. Has all the features I wanted and plays music when cycle is complete. I highly recommend this LG pair.

I bought this because my other dryer crapped out on me. I liked the simplicity of the buttons and the option for app/technology to be more efficient. I do have to utilize the extra time for drying button because my laundry loads are large. overall I do like the dryer and its functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smart Diagnosis feature is a little more complex than I’d like. The instructions and app are vague and seem to have multiple different set up features for different washer and dryer setups, but give one description/suggestion for all. I like the shallowness and width of the washer; it fits a normal size load comfortably. The agitator is a bonus for a better wash with clothes. Easy to use buttons on both washer and dryer, no complaints there. The initial start of the washer has a nice balance feature that does a dry spin before balancing with a little water. During all of this, the washer is very quiet which is great! Once the initial wash starts and water has stopped pouring, the sound coming from this washer is almost absent! I’m most amazed at how quiet it is! When clothes were finished with their spin cycle, the little tune that let me know they were done was nice and not too loud but could be heard from a neighboring room which I like! The normal load was notably dryer than what I’m used to, so I like how much water actually gets pulled from the clothes during the spin cycle. The dryer features are similar to the washer and easy to use and is just as quiet as the washer. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product's performance, but I would like easier access to the Smart Diagnosis feature this comes with.
