I've had my LG dryer for a few weeks ago, and it is a pleasure to use. The controls are easy to manage, and it has all the features I need. It is so much quieter than my 20-year old previous dryer, too. Whether it will last as long, though, remains to be seen, since nothing these days does.

Great technology to see that it didn't continue running and wasting energy when it didn't have to. Glad I chose the LG dryer this time! were all dry.

It's huge and I can't believe how quickly it dries. The sensor programs maybe tend to under-dry a little but we're learning what the best settings are for our needs. It's also really quiet!

I decided to push it to it's limit by not letting my wash load fully wring out, thereby leaving that load totally sopping wet. I placed it into the dryer and put it on the Bulky/Bedding setting because I figured that linen and blanket loads tend to be clumped more and definitely retain more moisture, if not drenched, toward the middle. When I removed the oversized load that had been completely water saturated in the beginning, it was as dry as a desert upon completion. After that test alone, I was sold. Combine that with it's FlowSense Duct Clogging and Lint Filter Indicators, and you have yourself a brilliant machine that let's you know when it's time to clean out the filter and duct so that you get the most efficient drying every time. With these features that I mentioned and so many more that I haven't, you can rest assured knowing that this machine is energy efficient and will save you on those costs.

I purchased this dryer to match my new washer, which had died after 16 years. The old dryer was the same age. The LG washer and dryer earned high consumer reviews, qualify for my state's tax break on energy-efficient appliances, and do their jobs well. However, even my old, basic dryer had a drum light. Why LG did not include this small but helpful feature is a mystery. Adding an LED light would certainly not compromise the Energy Star rating!

I bought this in October 2021. Even though this dryer was rated #1 on Consumer Reports, I am totally surprised that it is not that great. Since day one of ownership, it just hasn't worked properly. I spoke with a LG certified person, who assumed I had my dryer on energy saver, which I didn't. She then told me it was operator error. I can't seem to get the dryer to recognize that the clothes are still wet. I have instead had to resorted to using manual controls as the sensor isn't sensing as it is supposed to. The LG person out of Lousiana, Arianna, did a diagnostic test. She quickly determined that I was incorrectly operating the dryer. Her help was sending me yet another manual, exactly like I received when I purchased the dryer. A dryer should dry clothes. I'm spending way too much time on drying clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had no issues. Line the sensor dry cycles. The link filter is easy to clean, though sometimes there is some link left inside the vent area. Glad I got larger capacity to go with my large LG washer.
