[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason for 4 stars is the normal sensor never gets a full load completely dry. I use the heavy duty sensor and it does. Seems that normal would guarantee it to dry. Other than that it is excellent dryer and would purchase again. We will see how long it last.

I gave my dryer two weeks after realizing it does not dry on the second time using it. The sensor is broken and it stops after 15 minutes with an error playing. I have to only use manual dry and it does not work well. I don’t have time to always reset the dryer ever 30 min. It takes allll day long to dry ONE load and my clothes smell awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with this dryer and the warning feature that indicates when the air flow in the vent pipe is blocked. The air flow indicator is the main reason that I chose this particular model. I know that excess lint in the vent causes many house fires. My previous dryer did not catch a lot of the lint and was a problem with the long distance required for the vent. The first day I used this dryer, it indicated that there was a 90% blockage in the vent, so I stopped using it. Two weeks later, my son-in-law worked on cleaning out the vent for a couple of hours and we finally were able to remove a large clog using a 20 foot hose on my vacuum cleaner! It was not an easy job as there are two 90 degree angles in the vent that goes under the floor then under the adjacent bedroom to the outside wall. Now that the vent is cleared, the dryer is working beautifully, and the lint screen is catching much more lint than my previous dryer. I am very happy that I spent a few extra dollars to get the air flow warning feature on my dryer. On top of that, I love all of the extra settings on this dryer and have used them all! The dryer dries the clothes very quickly and the sensor feature works extremely well and adjusts the drying time as needed. I have actually stood in my laundry room and out of curiosity watched the timer change as the sensor was reading the amount of moisture in the clothing. It works so well! I highly recommend this dryer.

My only 2 issues with it so far are: 1) There’s no preset option other than delicates for a low-temperature dry, but 80-85% of our clothes now require a low-temperature dry. So I have to do a timed dry for most of my loads; 2) I did preset dry for a load of towels, which should have used the sensor dry feature, but they weren’t dry and so had to be run again. Disappointing.

I got this new Dryer and it's wonderful. Very nice looking. I love that it's so quite and has all the warning chimes too. My old Dryer was 25 years old so I think it was about time to get a nice new updated one. It also matches my new Washer I got a few years back to replace my old one. I love both my new LG products.

So I did the research online and found the best price. Very happy with performance. It dries faster than my other brand and bonus it is musical. A very happy product.
