Member's mark boneless salmon

Be careful as it is advertised as boneless! IT IS NOT. Do not feed to kids as we found several bones in different portions of it. It can be very dangerous not only for kids also for adults if you are not careful.

Alaskan Sockeye Salmon

I thought this salmon was wild caught when I purchased it then I noticed on the front of the package it says PREMIUM Wild Caught QUALITY in a circle on the left side of the package. This tells me it is not wild caught but wild caught quality.

Fishy smell, foul taste.

This product looks good in the packaging. So one star. I properly defrosted in the fridge and promptly baked it. It came out very fishy and has a nasty taste. I will have to toss it and the rest of the package. This is very disappointing. I was hoping better for something with a member's mark label, especially something this expensive.

horrible! don’t buy

This is the first item i have bought at Sams that is a rip off and useless to eat. Its all the pieces of the very end by TAIL. With fatty skin and bones!! Its so thin and useless. Takes three of them to salvage one serving. Do not buy this! Its tail scraps from the salmon. I feel so ripped off! I never write reviews… But don’t waste your money. Buy wild half of salmon. Its not red like wild either looks like farmed salmon tail ends. Only thing missing is the fins! Its 100% useless for anyone to eat unless you like salmon skin and bones.

Cooking time is drastically different from package

This Salmon is a good price however, I first cooked it thawed out for the time it states on the back of the package and even though I thought it seemed like to long I followed it anyway and it was so tough! The second time we cooked it, we cooked it frozen to see if that would make a difference, again I thought the cook time even frozen seemed very long and only cooked for 15 minutes and it was slightly overcooked, had I followed the package and cooked up to 25 mins it probably would have been not good enough to eat. Otherwise the fish is good!

Low Quality

This salmon was purchased because they were out of the Member’s Mark. I was not impressed by the thin cut of the salmon or it being skin-on. Not much to work with while trying to remove the skin and it became a mess during cook prep. I do not recommend.

The difference is like night and day.......

We love salmon, and used to eat the frozen Member's Mark ATLANTIC salmon every week, without fail. However, this new product is not edible. It had a strong, almost foul, taste; and the texture was both tough and rubbery. My husband and I are not picky eaters - nor do we waste expensive meats - so this $22.93 bag of "Alaskan" sockeye salmon ended up being fed to our farm animals.
