[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this refrigerator now for two months. My husband and kids love the different ice shapes and sizes. Is that a reason to buy this model? Probably not. The no handles thing is weird and I’m still not used to it. So suffice to say there are constant dirty smudges up top where the grab handles are located, or just on the door in general from pushing it closed. The other feature that takes getting used to is the motion sensor light between the refrigerator and the freezer. It lights up anytime and every time someone walks past the unit. For the first few weeks I was continuously thinking the door was ajar. All in all it a fine appliance. My last refrigerator was deemed a lemon and we got our money back, so having a unit that works is amazing after that four month ordeal. Always buy the extended warranty!

I purchased to upgrade a prior model as I was very excited about the ice feature, which has lived up to expectations. The pros are the space and configuration. The cons, which are mainly personal preference- at 5’9” I dislike having to bend down to open the doors each time. A notch in the door or handle would have been better. This would also help keep prints off the fridge bc every time you close the doors you must touch the doors, so I am constantly cleaning them. The notch in the freezer door collects fallen debris from the fridge. Unless you’re standing in front of it with the doors open it can’t be seen, and is not easy to wipe clean due to the narrowing of the the design. Although I can live with this. It also appears the temperature setting is off from the factory. Even after double checking there is no additional plastic from shipping covering anything, it’s cooler than what the digital thermometer reads - as the top shelf freezes the salads even though it’s set at 37. This caused the shelf attached to the interior door to unexpectedly crack when exposed to room temperature. It was replaced quickly and easily by LG, but still continues to freeze some items. All in all I’m happy with the fridge and haven’t run out of ice, but would prefer handles or a notch on the doors as to not bend down and eliminate the need to constantly clean.

This is a beautiful refrigerator. I love the sleek smooth look of no handles and the inside lighting and the stainless steel back of the fridge are stunning. This fridge runs very quietly which is a big plus since my kitchen is open into the family room. The three ice makers are a super nice feature even though I'm only using two of them. It's nice to know in the summer time I can activate the third one when ice is more in demand. The two vegetable/ produce bins are very nice in roomy although they feel a little bit flimsy and the flexible deli bin is very large and I like that you can change the temperature to accommodate what you're storing . However, in my opinion this is not a counter depth fridge. It sticks out further than my previous LG counter depth French door refrigerator that this replaced and the doors are much thicker. The refrigerator protrudes out into the walkway entering into my kitchen. LG recommends a two and a half inch clearance on either side and when open my refrigerator hits the control panel of my microwave drawer which is three inches away. On the very first day the refrigerator door got dented because my microwave control panel door was tilted open. The shelf spacing in the refrigerator is such that you cannot fit a bottle of soda or beer without raising the shelf, which then gives you a middle shelf that is so narrow virtually. Nothing fits on it. I also cannot understand how there is no covered bin in the door for butter! In my 68 years I have never had a refrigerator that did not have a covered butter bin in the door, including my previous LG counter depth french refrigerator. The left door of my refrigerator closes very easily, but the right hand door has to be forced closed. Which worries me that somebody might accidentally leave it partially open. I also find the freezer door to not glide out easily. If size is not an issue for you and you don't mind that it protrudes further than a standard counter depth with the doors being so thick, and you have the clearance on either side then this refrigerator might be perfect for you. It has many positive features. However, there were just enough negatives for me to make it less than a perfect fit for our family. I will adjust eventually, but for the time being I'm not a happy camper.

I have had my refrigerator over a month now and it is great. I love the 4 kinds of ice as well as the forced cold air on the products in the door! I like the french door so I can place trays and other oversized dishes on the shelves. Having hidden door openers above the freezer is great as I have a tight space and didn't like protruding door handles. Also nice is the locking door handle to open the freezer. Little hands cannot accidently open the freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fabulous refrigerator in November and it is now January 9th. My wife’s choice and I concurred. I have never seen her happier with an appliance choice. She has used all four ice options and grins each times she chooses. Though we have never owned LG appliances, we decided that our only appliance choice will be LG. We bought new LG washer and dryer which will be delivered in two days. The quality of the refrigerator surpasses any brands with which people are normally bombarded. It is refreshing to have a product deliver the quality that is advertised. We will not buy any other brand in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fridge. I had several issues getting the unit and the craft ice maker went out several weeks into the purchase. All that being said, all issues were resolved to my satisfaction. The only issue I may have is there are no handles. This will take a little getting used to. Plenty of room and good lighting. Very happy overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lurched three weeks ago. Love the space both in frig and freezer. Whoops, the ice maker hasn’t worked properly from the start. Only eight ball made. The dispenser partially froze up and the mini cube section is light on cubes. A service repair order has been placed and should be at my home in three days. I’m sure all will be rectified and we’ll be able to enjoy the Frig.

We bought this refrigerator to replace a competitor product that had a fundamental design flaw. We could not be more pleased so far. The unit is quite spacious with many options for storage. It appears to maintain a consistent temperature in both the refrigerator and freezer. We've been enjoying the multiple types of ice - whether the convenience of the in door ice, the novelty of the craft ice in our drinks or the benefit of the mini-ice for when we load up bottles before a long bike ride. Plus the unit is incredibly quiet, especially compared to our previous refrigerator. Two things to note is that it takes a few days to get used to the lack of handles and that one side of the refrigertor stays warm, thus warming the pantry next to the refrigerator a bit.

Large capacity for a counter-depth fridge. Adjustable main and door shelves are great. Freezer compartment design is well thought-out to maximize storage and for ease of access. LED lighting is very good and the outside light turned on by a sensor is a nice touch. I wish the temperature displayed showed both actual temperatures and set temperature instead of just the latter. Overall a wonderful product that is very highly rated by Consumer Reports with a great frequency of repair rating. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful fridge, all the bells and whistles you want without going overboard. I am not a fan of the refrigerators that have clear windows in the front, this is elegant and we have received numerous compliments on it. Not having the handles cuts down on the size and it reduces fingerprints too. Having multiple types of ice is actually super nice, the craft ice is great with drinks and the mini ice is awesome with big bottles of water. Five stars for sure.
