Excellent features that can be operated on phones.

I really like the sleek look of the fridge and the space. My poor review is based on size. The fridge requires a 36 inch wide opening. What it doesn't tell you, is additional space is needed to open the door IF YOU ARE ON A WALL and not just between cabinets. I want to get the word out that you need another few inches if up against a wall or you will not be able to open the door. My old fridge was 36 inches, BUT the hinges pushed in and the doors were flush with the fridge so there were no issues. I shopped all over and now I will have to return this fridge and purchase a 33 inch. I am not too happy, but I can't control how they are made or remodel my kitchen to accommodate. I just want to alert others. I searched many websites and no mention of the additional space being needed when looking at the fridge specs.

Works well, very convenient - except the large craft Ice has a strange metallic taste - so much so, we had to stop using it. The water and ice from the door and small craft ice does not have this weird taste so it's not the water supply or water filter. Would really like LG to provide a solution for this!

This model features a very annoying door alarm that cannot be disabled or modified via the control panel or ThinQ application. The timing for the alarm is so short that I often have not found what I'm looking for in the unit before it starts angrily chiming at me to shut the doors. Trying to put away groceries is an exercise in sheer frustration as you are forced to close the unit doors half a dozen times or relegated and subjected to the constant, nagging, loud chimes. ***Please remedy this***

we are very happy with this counter depth fridge and the capacity, more room than we expected. the fridge is low noise and quiet. love the large ice balls.

I thought there wouldn't be enough storage space once I moved and needed a counter-deep fridge instead of a standard depth one, but this refrigerator has plenty of room! It does a great job keeping items cold. It even makes fancy ice cubes! The three tier freezer system makes it easy on the back. The trays for the fancy ice cubes do take up a good portion of the top freezer tier. If not making fancy ice, the trays are removable (or available to put other items in them). I would buy again!

We bought for the multiple different ice options although we do not use them all as much as I thought. I do like the shelves in the freezer drawers. That is a different setup from out last fridge. Overall, I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had it a few weeks now. I’m not sure I’m happy not having door handles though. It seems I’m constantly wiping off fingerprints. The ice maker in the door has clumped up a few times if we don’t use it all the time and we like to use the two options that we have in the freezer. We love the water dispenser as it’s the first one we’ve ever had that comes out slow enough not to splash. The counter depth is working just fine for us and appears to be very roomy.

This is a beautiful refrigerator. I love the sleek smooth look of no handles and the inside lighting and the stainless steel back of the fridge are stunning. This fridge runs very quietly which is a big plus since my kitchen is open into the family room. The three ice makers are a super nice feature even though I'm only using two of them. It's nice to know in the summer time I can activate the third one when ice is more in demand. The two vegetable/ produce bins are very nice in roomy although they feel a little bit flimsy and the flexible deli bin is very large and I like that you can change the temperature to accommodate what you're storing . However, in my opinion this is not a counter depth fridge. It sticks out further than my previous LG counter depth French door refrigerator that this replaced and the doors are much thicker. The refrigerator protrudes out into the walkway entering into my kitchen. LG recommends a two and a half inch clearance on either side and when open my refrigerator hits the control panel of my microwave drawer which is three inches away. On the very first day the refrigerator door got dented because my microwave control panel door was tilted open. The shelf spacing in the refrigerator is such that you cannot fit a bottle of soda or beer without raising the shelf, which then gives you a middle shelf that is so narrow virtually. Nothing fits on it. I also cannot understand how there is no covered bin in the door for butter! In my 68 years I have never had a refrigerator that did not have a covered butter bin in the door, including my previous LG counter depth french refrigerator. The left door of my refrigerator closes very easily, but the right hand door has to be forced closed. Which worries me that somebody might accidentally leave it partially open. I also find the freezer door to not glide out easily. If size is not an issue for you and you don't mind that it protrudes further than a standard counter depth with the doors being so thick, and you have the clearance on either side then this refrigerator might be perfect for you. It has many positive features. However, there were just enough negatives for me to make it less than a perfect fit for our family. I will adjust eventually, but for the time being I'm not a happy camper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and have already had to replace an ice maker. The craft ice maker says it can make up to 6 ice balls per day, however it never seemed to produce that many. After 2 months of use the craft icemaker quit working altogether. Since we were well within the 1 year warranty, a new icemaker was covered. It was shipped to us quickly with easy self-installation instructions. We've had the new icemaker for one week and so far it is performing as expected. Hopefully this one will last. As for the rest of the refrigerator, it meets expectations. Nothing exceptional or disappointing to speak of. I do like the door cooling feature. It allows us to store our milk in the door rather than taking up space in the fridge. It has worked well and I haven't had any issues with milk going bad. I love the 4 icemaker options when they all work properly. Our children play sports and during the heat of the summer, we go through a ton of ice for water bottles. When all icemakers are working, it produces plenty of ice to keep us well stocked. The handle-less door was an adjustment. The first week my husband and I were both annoyed by the missing handles and we were tempted to send it back. However, once we got used to having no handles we're ok with it. I don't see the benefit of the PrintProof Stainless Steel. The finish looks just as nice as any stainless steel appliance, but it shows smudges and fingerprints just as much and requires cleaning multiple times a day. I actually think not having handles makes fingerprints more likely as you almost can't help but touch the front of the door to close it. However, the smudges are easily cleaned with a wet or dry cloth if you do it daily (or multiple times a day if you live with kids). We're keeping the fridge for now as it is functional for our needs and looks nice, but I would likely try a different version if we were to buy again.
