I bought this 3 months ago and wish I hadn't. 3 major things make this not user friendly. 1. The family hub is a waste of money. The apps are difficult to manage both on the refrigerator and in the Smart Things app on your phone. The Family Hub will tell what you should do to correct the problem but then those options aren't even available in settings as it says. I've spent hours trying to make this work properly with no luck. 2. The icemaker doesn't stay cold enough to keep ice in cube form, it just turns into a chunk of ice after only a couple days. Found out from the in-laws who have Samsung refrigerators this is a common problem across the models. Additionally, the water spout doesn't allow for easy filling of water bottles. It is too deep and short and always ends up making a mess. But that's OK, the water mess can just join the ice chunk mess on the floor. 3. The organization is awful. The shelves are not adjustable and there are only 2 large drawers. It make everything in the refrigerator into a big jumble of stacked items. On the plus side, the refrigerator still works.

Like any refrigerator, it chills and freezes our grocery items perfectly. However, the Family Hub brings the features we are accustom to using on our smartphone to the kitchen area on a large touch screen with all the same apps, such as Gallery, Spotify, Pandora, etc. You can maintain your grocery list on the family hub which is a tremendous convenience when you use the last of your favorite spices or other recipe ingredients right at that moment so you don't forget. You can write messages to your children on the touch screen or loving notes to your spouse. We love our new Samsung side-by-side refrigerator with the Family Hub!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the tablet and inside camera feature. However, the ice maker is too slow and too small to keep up with our family of 3. I wish it was better. I have to keep extra ice on hand because we often run out. Also, I have the inside frig turned up to 39 and I keep loosing vegetables due to them being frozen. I would not buy it again.

Quiet stays cold also helpful keeping track of expiration on food is cool too. Also being able to read a recipe right on a the screen is very helpful to. One of cons for me personal preference is that wish the water/ice dispenser had a light. Dispenser isn't complete center so smaller cups u have to watch or hold it in place and push button with other hand or it misses. The functionality and operation is good. Will see how things progress in time though.

I absolutely love it! The temperatures are perfect, it is spacious and makes kitchen life a dream. The whole family is in love with the Family Hub touch screen, from playing music while cooking to pulling up recipes or just viewing my favorite photo collage, the uses are endless. I have only scratched the surface. Not to mention the priceless joy of ice water with refilling containers. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. If I had to improve on it in any way, I would add another drawer in the fridge and widen the door shelves.

Large Capacity Side-by-Side Refrigerator with 21.5" Touch Screen Family Hub™ in Stainless Steel and WOW is all you can think when you look at it. But it's not just pretty, it is so functional too. I've always preferred a side by side refrigerator and had been constantly checking if Samsung would eventually put a hub on the side by side, as many of their other refrigerator styles have it too. Well they finally did it and it is exquisite. The refrigerator is sleek and very modern, with nothing but clean, straight lines. I was a little apprehensive when I didn't see any outer handles on either side but that has become one of my most favorite features. The hidden, indented "handle" really helps to keep smudges off of the refrigerator. It is fingerprint less but smudges do show up but are easily cleaned. The inside is clean and big for a side by side. At almost 27 cu. ft. this refrigerator is a lot bigger on the inside than you think. Where our other fridge could barely contain our food, when we switched to this one we actually had empty shelves on both sides. The glass shelves are an adequate size and the see through bins help find what you need easily. Tall items fit with ease on the shelves or the door as there is plenty of space there. Samsung really designed the door compartments with the consumer in mind. All of our Club Size items fit perfectly. The freezer is just as spacious, with a place for everything, two drawers, and door storage too. Having the icemaker on the door really does free a lot of inside shelf space. With water and ice (full and crushed) included with the refrigerator, it has easily become our favorite appliance. Cool down was very quick after installation so we were able to start enjoying it faster. Having the camera inside is genius, I honestly don't know how we did it before. I used to have doubles of thing in the fridge that would take up space or forget to get something from the grocery store because I thought we already had it. Now all I have to do is check the inside of the refrigerator, the inner camera let's me know without guessing! I've even added pantry items to the app and have all of it on my phone. I really am happy with this Samsung side by side refrigerator and so is my family.

this is really reliable fridge, i use it for a year already, never had any problems with the display or fridge itself. it always politely asks to close the door when you keep it open for a long time, reminds you to do service in time and overall good quality of service. a year passed and there was only one error on the screen, error 41, i asked support, they replied very fast and i had only to reboot the display, cos i didn't reboot it for a year. that's it. i am happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i had missing parts when delivered & water/ice filter defective causing to leaked water at the bottom & damaged wood floor. stainless steel finish can easily scratch even just sticking magnets into it.compressor way too loud than can be extremely difficult to bear especially when evereyone is sleeping at night time.waited 4 weeks to get it but store says it will be delivered in 3 days after purchase.up till now, i am still awaiting for the replacement parts that suppose to be included. called samsung and was told that still processing order everytime after got cancelled numerous times.despite of all the horrible things i have been through with this ordeal, i would still give SAMSUNG products and services a second chance to earned back my business and trust. thanks everyone for taking time to read my review. This new model has so much storage in the freezer and refrigerator with the deep drawers. The automatic cooling system is so nice too! My daughter's love the Family Hub for drawing on the memo board to uploading family pictures in the app, which shows up on the large screen. I love the Family Hub with all the apps, like smart recipe, able to create grocery lists to transfer to my phone through the app, and listening to Pandora while cooking! I would highly recommend purchasing this!
