i like this thing connected to my system with no problems now i can play my game without taking up the tv and now that sony have done the update i dont have to connect to my ps5 to play games and for the price u cant beat what u is getting in my Opinion

absolutely love this thing but sometimes it takes a long time to connect or it doesn’t connect at all. Doesn’t happen often enough to really be an issue but there is also a noticeable lag or latency between pressing the button %26 seeing the reaction on screen but again, this happens rarely %26 is not that big of an issue.

Love it so far. This is not a stand alone unit! You have to have a PS5 to play it. That’s the question I get asked the most. You have to be on wifi and there’s no on board storage or cloud play. It’s literally just a portal into your existing ps5. I enjoy being able to play when people are watching the tv in the living room and not having to move the PlayStation to another room to play. Lag is an issue if you don’t have setting right and the ps5 on a wired internet connection.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. We eneded up returning because it had a hard time connecting and etaying connected to the playstation. Ultimately becauae this only works if the PS5 is on, its not super convenient. The PS5 can be in restmode but it will turn the console on completely.

It’s nice to use when you like moving around. Also it connects easier if you keep your PS5 on Sleep Mode. If you might want to watch a video on it. But if you order online keep in mind the PlayStation Portal Remote doesn’t come discreet so if someone notices it unattended it might get taken by a thief.

This is amazing. I have no complaints but you do need a really good internet connection in order to use it.otherwise it’s perfect.i have no regrets. I love not being stuck in one room to play my PlayStation games(specifically Fortnite) i can go outside and touch grass while gaming lol in-fact i can even lay down in the grass soaking up the sun while gaming.plus it’s comfortable to use unlike the switch as i have a mixed connective tissue disease and certain gaming systems hurt my hands but the portal is perfect and doesn’t cause me pain.highly recommend especially for people who love their PlayStation but don’t wanna be stuck in one room or even the house.

This handheld/accessory is awesome. The controller is very ergonomical, its a perfect replica of the ps5 duelsense controller. The thumbsticks are a hair smaller but honestly i dont think youll even notice during gameplay. Has haptic triggers, and a nice light bar between the screen and the controller. The screen is a perfect size in my opinion, some may perfer a little bigger but for my consumption i think this screen is perfect. The speakers in this are pretty good. They arent great but they do more than just get the just get the job do so id say above average. The USB-C port is in the perfect position so you can play and charge at the same time. The gameplay of this handheld is awesome. Connects to my ps5 quickly, no issues as long as its put in rest mode. Have had very little, and i mean very little frameskips or lag. Button input latency, for me, has almost been non-existent.

Great Product! Sony did great with this one. The graphics, sound, controller response, imho are all excellent. It does take a little adjusting at first, but it is Just as immersive as playing directly on your console! My honest review: The Portal only works on your local network and your PS5 MUST BE ON THE SAME NETWORK. This isn’t a device that you can travel with and play remotely from another location. I got it because sometimes I want to play on the couch or in bed. It literally is your console at the palm of your hands. It does require a strong and a consistent WIFI connection. The screen is a nice size (think 9” screen about the size of an iPad mini). It is relatively big in size( Much bigger than the BackBone attachment to your phone). Sony’s is all one device. Which makes it a handful! I do wish that Sony would’ve made it the screen “tiltable”, so that I wouldn’t have to bend my neck downwards, during long play. Even though I wish the price point wasn’t up there, if you are a modernity serious gamer, and you don’t always want to sit in front of your console for hours, this is truly the device to get! I hope my review helps🥰!

I was very concerned after buying this product and looking at all of the 1 star reviews a lot of them either not receiving the product or the device being faulty. I can confirm that I bought my portal for $200 and it came sealed and new no problems here!

Love This Product, Able to Play my games away from home, Very Clear Screen Good Quality Great Price, Really have grown attached to this product, works well even on my mobile hotspot would highly recommend for the gamers of today its affordable and a great addition to the PS5
