Picture quality is great. Love the feel of it in my hands. It is extremely comfortable to hold. It’s not very heavy. The issue I have been having is I have super fast internet and when I play on it it lags. Not sure if it is the connection to the ps5 or what. My ps5 is hardwired so that doesn’t lose connection. The portal keeps losing connection with my ps5. Gets frustrating when you are playing a game and it keeps losing the connection. If it wasn’t for this issue it would get 5 stars.

This is the Perfect complètement for my ps5. Having kids around the house, not always I have the change to have the tv for playing my games. So playing confortably on my couch is perfect. One tip though: be sure to have your ps5 ethernet wired to your modem before remote playing. It is a better experience

Totally not worth it … it’s basically a psp doesn’t let u watch your videos just games isn’t ultra Hd like the switch and barely holds your connection away from home … wish I don’t buy it … but same time I can watch my shows in the ligingvroom and game

Love it, works good once hardwiring the PS5 to ethernet on your router and being on good strong wifi. Leave it in rest mode and gain the freedom to play from around the house, even outside if there's a good wifi signal. It's essentially a PS5 controller with an OLED monitor in the middle. For audio, you can plug in headphones or earbuds, but on Sony's Pulse Headphones and Earbuds will connect via Sony's proprietary bluetooth connection. There has been some hacks on youtube using a bluetooth adapted connected to the audio port to use any bluetooth earbuds or headphones with it.

So i have now had this handheld for a total of 24hrs so this will be more or less a first impression review. This handheld/accessory is awesome. The controller is very ergonomical, its a perfect replica of the ps5 duelsense controller. The thumbsticks are a hair smaller but honestly i dont think youll even notice during gameplay. Has haptic triggers, and a nice light bar between the screen and the controller. The screen is a perfect size in my opinion, some may perfer a little bigger but for my consumption i think this screen is perfect. The speakers in this are pretty good. They arent great but they do more than just get the just get the job do so id say above average. The USB-C port is in the perfect position so you can play and charge at the same time. The gameplay of this handheld is awesome. Connects to my ps5 quickly, no issues as long as its put in rest mode. Have had very little, and i mean very little frameskips or lag. Button input latency, for me, has almost been non-existent. As of 11/19/2024 Sony has put a update on this handheld to allow you to stream ps5 games without the need of a ps5 console. I have got a couple hours of gameplay using this feature and the gameplay is not bad at all. Honestly with it being in beta i didnt think it would be that great, but let me tell you it has exceeded my expectations. Its not perfect by any means, your are only limited to ps5 games only, and you have to play the ps5 catalogue thats provided with this feature, and to get the feature you ahbe to subscribe to PlayStations Priemum tier. But its a beta so its going to be worked on as time continues, but once the beta is over, i can almost see this, handheld no longer being just an accessory to the ps5, but also seeing it become a handheld streaming device for playing PS5/PS4 games and maybe even the classic Playstation systems.

Purchased from Walmart because they guaranteed delivery by 11/15and it still hasn’t even shipped yet. Bought one at BestBuy today instead and I will be returning this one to Walmart when it does finally arrive. Very disappointed in the service from Walmart. Go check BestBuy for my full review tomorrow.

Works great with the cloud gaming on ps plus premium. But not so much with the ps5 even though my WiFi is WiFi 6 and I have 2Gbps internet. My internal WiFi speed is 10Gbps. So not sure where the bottle neck is. It should work faster with the ps5 than the cloud gaming. If I could get it working on my WiFi with the ps5 there would be very little to consider cons with it. Pros are the screen size is good. The controller grips feel good. The buttons and triggers feel solid. The sticks feel solid.

Connected flawlessly, screen was bright and vibrant, was able to play for about 15 minutes and moved to a different section of my house and lost connection to the PS5 while being on the same network. After 30 minutes of attempting to connect restarted the device and moved to where the PS5 is located and next to the wireless router, still unable to connect to PS5. Absolute waste of money, another awful experience involving Sony's devices ability to connect to WiFi.

This is a must grab for those who want to play their ps on the go. Works so long as you have a solid connection that does not need you to use a browser to login like at a hotel. It can wake up your ps5 from rest mode and connect at anytime. Super convenient for those who do not have their set up in the room or for on the go usage
