Great product! The PlayStation portal is a nice addition to the PS family. It has flexibility with connection to the console and to the cloud. It's helpful to have a really good internet connection so you do not lag in gaming sessions and lose your progress. I would recommend a good protector case and tempered glass screen to enhance the device safety and longevity.

I love it! I can now game whenever I want while the TV is in use. It's lightweight with a beautiful screen and incredible controls that are best in flight for a handheld(I know it's it's technically a remote player but the form factor is similar). Also, I love the added touch of cloud streaming. It works way better than you would expect as long as you have a stable connection.

The Playstation Portal arrived very quickly and for the most part, works beautifully! Sony's answer to the Nintendo Switch is really fun to use. The only downsides are it can only be used while the PS5 is on (makes sense, but still, it would be nice if I could use it without turning on my PS5), and also because it connects through wi-fi, gotta make sure you have a good connection. Definitely worth it, though!

Overall it is okay. I would not buy it now because it is only a beta version of cloud gaming (Playstation plus - Premium subscription required). There aren't many good games available to play since it's only beta version. It is not worth it to get this unless you have a Playstation console already. Premium subscription is not worth it due to not having many good games to play in the ps portal. It will tell you to connect with your Playstation console but if you turn on the beta cloud gaming via setting, it will not ask you to connect to your ps console.

This thing is absolutely amazing!! The screen and graphics on this thing is insane it doesn’t seem real to have this insane quality for a portable! Fortnite runs outstanding on this!!Sony has really out done themselves with this! If you need a sign to buy look no further!! If you’re a gamer? This is a MUST HAVE!! Especially for the obvious PlayStation fans out there like myself. The one thing I love about it is that you actually don’t need your system on or have it in sleep mode to game! All you need is an internet connection and you can stream. IF you have data from a PS4 that needs to be transferred over, you can do that which is cool and helps you having to start all over on games you’ve already made progress on or beat. The resolution is crystal clear, not to mention the huge screen it has and also the system feels really good while holding it. I can’t believe how little it cost and the design is flawless. If your wifi is not strong enough, this is not a must have! Mainly a PS5 controller with a screen plastered in the middle. HOWEVER, with the right connection, it works great! There is SOME latency, making games like COD or Marvel Rivals an issue, but games like Hitman, FInal Fantasy, and Inscryption are fun to play on the go. (Have not tried this outside of my personal wifi)

Picture quality is great. Love the feel of it in my hands. It is extremely comfortable to hold. It’s not very heavy. The issue I have been having is I have super fast internet and when I play on it it lags. Not sure if it is the connection to the ps5 or what. My ps5 is hardwired so that doesn’t lose connection. The portal keeps losing connection with my ps5. Gets frustrating when you are playing a game and it keeps losing the connection. If it wasn’t for this issue it would get 5 stars.

We thought it was going to be like the Nintendo switch but it’s not. You have to be connected to WiFi and unless you have a ps5 you are very limited on games you can play. You also have to have a membership to play. It’s a nice concept if you want to constantly spend extra money. Not worth it in my opinion.

the wife can be watching her i wrecked my car, i like you, i hate you, i love you, kissy kissy, lets get married hallmark crap and i can play games. we were 25 miles away and i was using it. you need wifi, remote play on (on ps5), and ps5 in rest mode. for me it's well worth the money.
