I'm so glad i bought mine when i did (a few days ago). the price has already jumped $50 since then. Even at the new price point, its absolutely worth it imo. i have really good internet, and theres almost no lag when streaming PS5 titles. Im an Xbro (XboX), but wanted to play Spiderman. i wasnt willing to shell out $900 to do so either. Now i can play Spiderman all i want, its awesome!

I mean what an upgrade from the PSP. A bit late jumping on the bandwagon but I’m glad I did after the new upgrade and now this beautiful device is truly living up to its potential. I purchased the PS Premium Subscription and I can play all my games on the moon as long as there is WiFi or Hotstop connection.

The Portal is amazing you can play all the same games from your PS5 and make sure you have a strong WiFi when you play. I would buy it and when I can access my tv I can pull out the portal.

My husband and I share this to each play games. I wish we could just have 2 accounts on it. Signing in and out all the time is a pain. There are some occasional delays with remote playing but dependi g on the game it is tolerable.

When the Portal first launched, the streaming experience was a stuttery mess. Sony's official position was that this was your fault. Your Wi-Fi is bad. Your router is wrong. Have you tried being better at owning things? Classic Sony. Then a system update quietly rolled out and suddenly the thing just worked. No acknowledgment, no apology. Just a firmware patch and a silent nod, like a coworker who finally stops microwaving fish in the break room but never admits they were the one doing it. Once it's working, though, it's genuinely great. Streaming from my PS5 in another room is smooth and responsive, and cloud streaming means I can play games even when I'm nowhere near my console. The hardware is comfortable, the screen looks good, and the DualSense features translate well. My complaints are about what it could be. An OLED screen would elevate this thing significantly. Bluetooth audio support beyond Sony's own headsets would be nice. But this is the company that made the Vita, watched people love it, and then buried it in the backyard like a family secret. They don't iterate on good ideas. They release them and then pretend they never existed. It's almost like printing money offends them on a philosophical level. Easy to recommend now. One star deducted for the rough launch and Sony's inability to follow through on their own best impulses.

As a portable unit that literaly teathers from the game tower itself, it's a great investment for all the micro gaming Playstation offers more than plenty of -and- allows the play of more recent 4k titles of similar game styles. (-NOT- a 'portable' unit for travel use!)

Your PS5 needs to be turned on, and be nearby the console. Else, you need to pay for PS Plus Premium for cloud steaming of your game. More than 10 ft away from console, unit often disconnects. Reconnecting sometimes takes more than one try. I run on Verizon home internet with the white cube. Use it to keep game running, while waiting for the bounty on my head to clear in ESO. Also good while sitting on toilet. No center pad button. Annoying to manage tap on screen to bring up map, or call my horse in ESO.

Only reason I’m giving this is two stars is occasionally it will connect to my PlayStation 5. It’s okay if you just want to play cloud games that’s generally not an issue but my god does it completely suck at remote connection to my console…. It even fails more than it connects while on my home WiFi that the console is on. Almost impossible to get it to work away from the house. Not to mention the bugs it still has from years ago while looking for solutions on the internet one being if it goes idle while charging it will just stop charging and need hard reset to get it back on. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this thing as is to anyone unless you are only interested in the cloud library of games then by all means if you can overlook the many problems it’s not a bad buy. You could also just use the streaming app with a controller and save 250 USD though.

To be honest I was so excited this was a gift for my husband I bought it brand new not open box not refurbished, but the portable we had was glitching and it kept unpairing from the ps5, that was really annoying and very disappointing. So, I send it back.

I purchased this PS5 controller and unfortunately it stopped working after a short time. The motherboard seems to be defective because the controller will not turn on or respond, even after resetting and trying different chargers. This was very disappointing because I expected better quality. I would recommend testing the controller immediately after purchase and keeping your receipt in case you need a return or exchange. Overall, not satisfied with this purchase and need an immediate replacement or refund . I need to be compensated
