It's a great device. Especially if you're into story games. But obviously you do need a PS5 unless you pay for the premium subscription which lets you stream games. But even then you need stable Wi-Fi, you need to know that you won't be able to access the library of games you already own. Only what ever PlayStation has put out for the month. Streaming from the PS5 isn't wow either. If you're playing an online multiplayer game like fortnite, rocket league, COD, etc. it's not very great. There is input lag. Not horrible but if you're a hardcore gamer you will absolutely notice. You can't stream YouTube or Netflix unfortunately. It's still great for story games, being comfortable on your bed and enjoying some games. So it's still worth it but you need to know the Cons.

I love my PSPortal. It's handy when I need it. Play your portal games or games you have saved on your console anywhere with high speed WiFi. I recommend getting a travel router for ease of connecting to the internet when you use it away from home.

First couple of hours with it and I'm satisfied. Easy setup, didn't take too long. My WiFi is decent so all of my time streaming was smooth. I first tried a remote playing with Halo disc in my system. Smooth, no issues at all. I then streamed a game from my library and it was very smooth. The screen is nice, the volume is good, %26 again, I'm satisfied. Does what I need it to do, well.

Very convenient for parents, although you cannot stream from your play station and play in your portal at the same time. It is still nice to be able to game where ever I want in my house.

I bought this as a birthday gift to myself %26 I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised by how smooth it's been going. In house connected to the WiFi it's marvelous no issues whatsoever %26 u don't even need to turn on your tv which saves on electricity. If you're someone on the go you will need a PlayStation Plus Premium membership for around $22/month %26 a nice amount of reliable Hotspot.

It's big and it works. It's a handheld screen for the console and that's exactly what I needed for a second screen experience and it does that. One negative is that the battery wastes faster than expected in rest mode but in use it's about 4 or 5 hours till it hits the 20% mark.

Didn’t have Roblox on there..the main game my son plays which was kinda shocking giving the facts it’s the most popular game right now .. plus it’s make you pay an monthly arcade membership fee to even access the games. .i wish YouTube %26 other apps where available as well like on the console.. its ok

Sony.......TF? PSP was such an amazing experience. then decide hey instead of improving the PSP, scrap the idea and give us the PS Portal. Though it plays well on a strong WI-FI streaming is all its good for no storage to download. Sure you cam pair your console however, one has to be literally right next to it. PS Portal is found most wanting %26 your people need to do better. Why y'all being lazy?

I sat directly next to my primary router/access point (deco xe75 pro) which is the same room as my PS5 and tried to stream MLB The Show; The latency was so terrible even with the "update." It's a beautiful pile of poop [I wanted to use other language but the Wal-Mart filter cried about it]. You can do an equally crappy job with your cellphone and a controller for free. Can only imagine this is a sign of things to come in an all digital Playstation future. Hopefully this review encourages you to no look pass on this thing.

the portal is very laggy even on high speed internet it lags. also they need to make it as a true travel piece. if your ps5 is not turned on you can not use it. you should be able to take it with you when you travel as long as you're logged into your account you should be able to access games. a good start but if you want to rival Nintendo and the switch i suggest ypu make some improvents to make this a truly mobile gaming system
