[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual, the JBL packaging is exquisite. i Have always loved their attention to detail in their item packaging. i feel its first class and well thought out. It feels like a much more expensive item right from the way its boxed. Once unboxed, i can tell right away that these new buds will be an excellent alternate to the Apple Airpods. The design is very similar. the feel of the matte finish is preferred over the glossy shell. The case is super compact with the same look and love the charge icon lights on the front. Lets you know how much life is left in that charge. The feel in your ears is very comfortable. It's a huge selling point for these. Bluetooth connectivity is super simple and almost too easy. Hooked up to my iphone 15 in seconds. I steamed music from a few different platoforms including iHeart, Pandora, and SiriusXM radio. Sound was what you would expect from JBL. Very rich, full and bass was not an issue. I love the professional sound quality of the majority of their headphones/ear pods. These new buds moved right to the front of the line when choosing which ones to use for the gym. I highly recommend these beauties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a lot of earphones over the last couple of years, and these JBL Live Flex are just up there dominating the heavy-weights. The fit snuggly for my large ears, and I did not feel even a bit uncomfortable wearing them of hours in stretch. The active noise cancellation is superior in quality and performs well to obstruct the surrounding sound. This helped me a lot concentrating in office work, even though I have nothing playing in them. The sound quality is crystal clear, and I have been able to answer calls during gym sessions, at cafeterias without any issues. The bass could be better though. The build quality is also good. I was worried about finger-print marks on the black body, but have not seen that issue over last 3 weeks. The battery life is beyond expectations. I never drained the batteries using the headphones throughout the work day. The Active Noise Cancellation is clearly superior to the first generation and the addition of Adaptive audio is super cool and very useful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Live Flex / Perfect Fit won't disappoint! Great sounding earbuds, with a super comfortable fit. These will definitely be my new "go to" buds. The fit is very comfortable and they stay in place quite well. Easy to pair with phone and take calls pretty seamlessly. The total charge time is off the chart, 8 hours in the buds plus another 32 hours charge in the case! I downloaded the app that comes with them, that allows you to customize the buds to your preferences. You can adjust the equalizer setting on the earbuds, but you have to exit the song, adjust, then go back to the music to see if they are set where you would like -- would be better if you could adjust while you were actually listening to the song, but still a great feature to have. I also like the fact that the case shows you with light bars how much charge is left in the case from 1 bar to 3 bars. Overall a very nice sounding comfortable bud at this price range.

Does not has customizable size ear pieces. Too big for my ear

Very quiet. Far too quiet. Cannot hear music over the lawn mower. Useless. Waste of money completely

The fit was painful so much so that I returned them immediately. They would not stay in as well. Didn't have them long enough to rate their performance.

These suck, they don't fit in the ears correctly and there is no way to change the tips. Fall out way too easy and if your outside doing stuff good luck finding them.

The sound quality is exceptional, delivering crisp highs and deep bass that enhance my listening experience whether I'm at the gym, commuting, or just relaxing at home. The adaptive noise-canceling feature works ok. I think the design of these earbuds and/or my ear canal hinder it from becoming true adaptive noise-canceling. Although I lean more on the side of design. As I've used similar JBL earbuds with this convex design that simply does not seal well. With that being said, they are incredibly comfortable even for extended wear. They feel secure, and I don't have to worry about them falling out during intense workouts or while walking around. Battery life is another highlight. With up to 8 hours of playtime on a single charge (ANC off) and a total of 40 hours with the charging case, I rarely find myself needing to recharge. The quick charge feature is also a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry. Another great addition is the built-in voice assistant support. Although I'm not an active user of it, I still appreciate that it's there at a tap of the bud to make quick text, make calls, etc. Overall, the JBL Live Flex earbuds offer excellent sound, comfort, and battery life. They are fantastic at that. But if you're looking for something that's going to block off all the distractions at the gym, work, or anywhere else where you experience a lot of commotion and noise then these might not be the best fit. These earbuds offer a lot of fantastic tech and great sound quality, but its main selling point is the adaptive noise canceling. Which in my opinion falls short.

Compared to what was available say five or six years ago the JBL Live Flex earbuds are no exception. Undeniable improvements over time. And included the noise canceling abilities. Side-note: Even the packaging has improved. OK, out of the box, charge the unit(s). Insert into ears, get the Bluetooth connected and stream music from my cell phone. Hmmm, only so-so in sound. Generally flat and no life. Decent sound, but… Get into the JBL app and the world of sound changes dramatically. Several pre-set equalization available. Personally I preferred the Jazz variation. Then the spatial sound enhancement. Yes it is worth listening, but does not work well with all types of music. An interesting section was sealing earbuds within the ear. Give the program a chance, may be surprised. Logic dictates a lot of R&D went into developing the shape to seal well in the average ear. My ears are not within those parameters. That being said, the units became uncomfortable after an hour or two. All day listening not for me, yet for short term these are my go-to earbuds. I do like the sound produced. On to noise canceling. Recently took a flight on a Boeing 737 and sitting toward the rear. Taxi to the runway was no issue. However the takeoff the JBL's couldn't handle the loud input from the engines. A weird static and crackling. After the initial climb, worked great. And the screaming child three seats in front of me. Well I was in peace. Conversations via phone were easy. Easy to understand both female and male. “nuff said. Now for a suggestion. How about adding some color to the case. On my desk are four sets JBL earbuds, so which one is which? Overall I do appreciate these earbuds. They sound great but wondering where the JBL signature sound has gone. The usual mild warmth is absent. If I was to rate the earbuds, I would give a 4.4 due to ear fitment and the reduced JBL sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really enjoy the JBL Live Flex. It offers nice sound quality, adaptive noise cancelling, and a long battery life. My main concern with the product is like many ear buds, they just don't fit snuggly into my ear where I don't feel like I can confidently walk around with them without fear they'll fall out. The features were easy to learn and I was able to open up the product and start using it rather seamlessly.
