Not for Smaller Ears

These earbuds are too big and uncomfortable for smaller/womens ears even when you twist them into your ears as instructed. They really should offer two sizes in small/medium or medium/large. As for sound quality, I can't comment as the speaker is covered by my ear since they do not fit properly. To sum it up, only buy these earbuds if you have larger ears.

Great overall, but not good for airplanes

Comfortable, styleish, and great sound range. Battery life was also good. My issue with these ear buds was that the fit in the rear was not super snug (like some with the rubber ear piece that his in the ear. Therefore, the noise cancelling was not good enough on an airplane and i could barely hear video i was watching.

JBL Live Flex, the earphones you can flex!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a lot of earphones over the last couple of years, and these JBL Live Flex are just up there dominating the heavy-weights. The fit snuggly for my large ears, and I did not feel even a bit uncomfortable wearing them of hours in stretch. The active noise cancellation is superior in quality and performs well to obstruct the surrounding sound. This helped me a lot concentrating in office work, even though I have nothing playing in them. The sound quality is crystal clear, and I have been able to answer calls during gym sessions, at cafeterias without any issues. The bass could be better though. The build quality is also good. I was worried about finger-print marks on the black body, but have not seen that issue over last 3 weeks. The battery life is beyond expectations. I never drained the batteries using the headphones throughout the work day. The Active Noise Cancellation is clearly superior to the first generation and the addition of Adaptive audio is super cool and very useful. The headphones change super fast, and I do not have to worry about them losing charge. Hope you find this helpful, if you have any questions please comment them!

JBL has done it again! Love the sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never been a fan of earphones because they tend to fall out but let me tell you how comfortable these sit in your ears. They go for hours on a single charge and the noise canceling really works. The base on these things are extraordinary

Do not recommend

2 stars is for sound quality but everything else about these earbuds suck!!! The fit is horrible and hurts. There's no silicon or any gripping material so they just kind of dangle with in your ear, unless I guess, if you have huge ear holes? Battery life is 4ish hours. They also stay connected to Bluetooth even in the case, unless the case is plugged in(this may just be a defect in mine) but this means they are draining while you're trying to charge them. I would not recommend these at all.

Our JBL Live Flex are earbuds and do not come with the in-ear design for sealing the buds inside your ear canal. You may also have the option to look for third-party ear enhancers for a secure fit while wearing the unit. Once the unit is placed on the case, the earbuds should turn off. Please try cleaning the contact points on the buds and the case as these pins are sensitive to dust or dirt. If you need more help, please reach out to our customer support.

Awesome Ear Buds!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These buds sound AMAZING. Crystal clear audio on phone calls, which I use these for 99% of the time. Easy to set up and very comfortable in ears. These are really great ear buds, and I highly recommend these!

Esthetic = beautiful; Function = casual listening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design and Build The charging case is definitely a standout. The design is clean and functional, and the layout feels fresh compared to most earbuds on the market. It fits nicely into your hand, not too big not too small, and the ear buds are more easily removed since they lay flat rather than mostly inside the case. The earbuds themselves look good too—shoutout to the silver beveled edge, which adds a touch of elegance. They look very sharp. Unfortunately, the design has a practical drawback: without flexible ear tips, they just don't stay put, especially if you're moving around a lot or have piercings that get in the way. I have a tragus piercing on my right ear and that ear bud gets loose much easier than the left and has fallen out a few time (twice into the sink while I was washing dishes, thankfully with the water resistance rating, nothing has gotten water damage). Noise Cancelling This feature is… well, let's just say it exists, and you can turn it on, but I didn't notice much of a difference with noise cancelling on or off. Without the flexible ear tips, there isn't a tight seal in your ear canal - they do not have a way to effectively block out external sounds by isolating your ear from ambient noise. Sound Quality The sound quality is decent. The soundstage and frequency range are good enough for casual listening, but nothing really stands out. Nothing really to be impressed by, but for most day-to-day uses, they get the job done. Overall Performance Here's the thing: these earbuds feel more like a budget option. They're fine for casual listening, but there's no real “wow” factor besides the slightly different design of the case and the silver detail on the buds themselves.
