Bought it nearly 5 years ago. Worked well until a few weeks ago and then freezer quit cooling followed by the refrigerator. Compressor was replaced under warranty a few days ago and hopefully we have more trouble free years. The temperatures seems to fluctuate more than I like, but we will see.

I am thoroughly impressed by the generous amount of space provided by this refrigerator and its exceptional visibility, allowing me to locate items effortlessly without having to rearrange everything. To enhance organization, I have incorporated clear plastic bins, which have further elevated its functionality. One aspect that particularly stands out to me is how the bins on the door seamlessly coexist with the items on the shelves, avoiding any disruptive contact. This striking contrast from my previous refrigerator, a side-by-side model that had its limitations, makes me truly cherish this French door style upgrade. Without a doubt, it has exceeded my expectations and become an absolute favorite of mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has everything you need as a family. Look beautiful, matches any decor and fits in standard size space. Lower freezer door is easy access and allows for freezing larger items of various shapes. Always had great experience with LG products. Expecting the same for this as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the refrigerator. I have had LG products before and have always had great luck with them. The biggest reason I did not give it a 5 is that It takes some getting used to having to make sure you shut the doors completely or they don't close all the way unlike others that magnetize ..it looks fabulous in my small but contemporary kitchen. I'm very pleased with the shelf and drawer arrangement and the temp control. Overall very happy so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect addition to our kitchen. Starting with the attractive design and continuing with the multiple features, it answers all our requirements. We strongly recommend this LG French Door refrigerator to anyone wanting to add class to their kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the refrigerator with French doors and a bottom freezer about a month ago. My wife and I love this refrigerator. It has a great indoor lighting system, fantastic extra space for items on the doors, and a large freezer area that opens up a second area for ice cubes and extra storage on a second level, as one opens the door farther. The refrigerator has a great seal set up as one closes the doors to keep the cold in. Items stay fresher longer with the ventilation of air inside when the doors are closed that keeps items fresher longer. It has an alarm on the refrigerator that makes a soft gentle sound if you forget to close the French doors properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this for about 6 months. We picked this particular one because it’s one of few with door water it’s size. It’s our favorite fridge ever. Ice maker is quick and quiet-we have never ran out of ice yet, even with large groups. This was our first experience with LG and we will never purchase any other brand again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a little distressed because there is limited capacity for wine bottles in the door. especially if they use the stopper mechanisms which add a couple of inches of height. I don't usually drink an entire bottle at once and I do like different flavors of wine. Some design accommodation should be made. Similarly when I set the main shelves to have some for taller bottles then the space between the shelves below becomes only two or three inches. We have resorted to using wire baskets to hold all the various smaller bottles and jars so that we can pull the basket out and get what we need (mustard, tapenade, jelly, olives, minced garlic, specialty spices, and sauces, etc.) Both could be answered if some engineers would design a compatible accessory that allowed for a pullout try for such items. The wine bottle issue might be solved by a two-bottle shelf mounted carrier that either sat on the shelf (One bottle above the other) or hung from the shelf, (Bottles side by side.) Both holding the bottle at an angle to make the best use of the space for additional length for the stopper. I would gladly pay for this. The size of the refrigerator is fine. We have limited space and don't want something larger. The configuration reduces waste. We keep leftovers at eye level so we forget about fewer things and almost always can see what is ready to snack on with just a little warming.

Fridge compressor died 5 years in and the entire extended warranty process was the best. I made the claim at 1 a.m. EST; had a scheduled tech within hours on a Wednesday. The fridge was fixed that Friday. The extended warranty was worth it! A fridge should last more than 5 years.

An old home, a limited space for a refrigerator. But the LG model not only fits better in the space, but gives us what seems like much more options for storage, both in the freezer and the refrigerator. The air flow and temperature control keeps food fresh longer, the ice maker and filtered water work flawlessly. This refrigerator makes our kitchen life easier, and looks great!
