Plenty of freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still getting use to my new fridge. I knew that LG is one of the best there is. I'm still referring back to the thorough manual that came with it, because newer fridges work smarter not harder as it first seemed. It appears that it has a great warranty, but Lowe's sold me a 5 yr. Warranty. While I was registering it and once again after LG, offered an extended warranty. It seems that none would be as good as the warranty it comes with. It gets colder in the freezer than set, which I like, because I keep my food frozen as much as possible. At first I was disappointed that you can only set it to -6*, when my older freezer was -10* to -20+, and my deep freezer is -20* to -30*. I was pleased with it not being, all 3.7cu Ft, full, until later this week, while set at -6*, it maintains -10* to -15*. I am very pleased. If something ever goes wrong, the food would stay frozen longer without thawing too quick. I love how it looks. It makes my kitchen look 100% better. I hoping for a very long and happy relationship.

Smart Functions Fail

I was satisfied with the features of the LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator both functional and appearance except for the LG ThinQ Application Smart Functions. The instructions for installing and using this software is somewhat confusing and I never was able to get it completely up and running. Was able to get the LG ThinQ Application installed on my cell phone but never could get my refrigerator model registered with the software either in auto or manual mode. I have not yet tried to contact HELP at 77228. At this point I feel that the model I have does not even support the LG ThinQ Application which may be the reason for this problem. I don't really need it to use the refrigerator so I haven't pursued trying to get it to work. You can spend a lot of time in resolving software issues so I don't have it right now to get something working that I don't need. This model is fine with the manual controls and the cell phone connection is not required for a necessary function of the system.

I bought an LG with water in the door, three door with freezer on the bottom. Both the freezer and the refrigerator can fit Pizza boxes. It keeps things really cold and I can’t hear it run. I can change the water filter from the front, don’t have to pull it out to change it twice a year. All in all, it’s the best appliance I’ve ever purchased.

Nice unit but shelving edges broke right away. Shelves do not slide and cannot are left and right specific. Door storage and freezer is terrific. Deli drawer flap also brok on one side while flipping up. Food is kept fresh in bins and temp control, water and ice work perfectly. Unit hums sometimes for long periods of time. For the price in comparison to others is reasonable. Quality of interior could use improvement
