Got this for xmas. The maker itself is very well engineered. The only complaint I can nit pick on would be that it spits and makes a little mess when using kpods. BUT, if you get this DO NOT get the model with the metal pot. It is both useless as a container to keep things hot and DANGEROUS at the same time. The pot is horribly insulated and wont keep coffee drinkable temp for more than about 2 hrs. At the 2 hr mark coffee is cool enough to pour on your hand. The metal pot model does not come with a warmer. You can get almost 4 hrs of warmth if you pre-heat the pot with hot water inside and out letting it hold hot water for a minute or two and then empty, fill and repeat twice. This wastes a ton of water but gets you hot coffee for longer. I REALLY wish they got me the glass pot model with the warmer. I honestly curse this thing every morning. But even worse the metal pot is DANGEROUS. Not sure if it gets some kind of vapor lock when the pot is fresh and hot but your first pour the coffee sometimes barely comes out and then all of a sudden comes pouring out very fast. if you are not careful this WILL BURN YOU. So just be careful folks, the metal pot is not good.

I received this as a gift 15 months ago, and while I never thought I wanted or needed this, it turned out to be something that I loved. I loved making myself one cup at a time, or a full pot when I had company, or iced coffee in the warmer months. And then, all of a sudden this week, I got the Add Water error message while brewing a cup in exactly the same way that I do every day. I looked up troubleshooting online, answered all of their questions, tried running a cleaning cycle per their troubleshooting, and when that didn't work, the website directed me to call customer support. I assumed that meant that I would receive some product support, but I was told that my machine was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. How disappointing. What was the point of calling customer support if no support was offered? This is the only Ninja product that I own and I will not be in a hurry to buy another.

So, I have a one morning review, that didn't start too well. My fir cup came out just water. When setting up last night, the instructions were just terrible. Finally got a cup brewed, then found this video. It's a game changer. Thank you, and I think I'll keep it. Was considering returning to store today. It's a bit tall so I'm adjusting everything in my coffee corner for this machine. Oh what we will do for our coffee!

I bought this less than a year ago and it already broke. Was working fine and then one day the water not closed symbol came on and it would no longer do anything. I checked the water tank and cleaned everywhere and it was fitting just right and still the water not closed error. What a waste of money

I bought this Ninja about 2 years ago and love it, however I'm getting an error "add water", there is water in the coffee. Any one else experience this and what did you do. After paying a lot of money I'm wondering if this coffee maker will ever work again.

Do not buy!! We are on our second. First one lasted a year and then broke and kept saying “add water” and would never work even after adding water. Then we got one as a gift two weeks ago and it broke after 3 days!! It steamed up so bad it ruined our cabinets and only would make an inch of coffee. I would stay clear of this coffee maker!!

I love this coffee maker. It has multiple features and i have used them all. Two things that are a problem for me is that in the middle of brewing a pot of coffee the clean alert goes on and you can't finish the brew cycle. The other is my Kcup lid continues to stick which i have reached out to customer support. We”ll see out that goes. Other than that I purchased two more for gifts that's how much I love it!

I have owned this machine for almost a year now. I had never splurged on a coffee machine and didn't intend to for this one, even though I wanted it so bad! One day my husband showed up with it for me. I was so happy I cried tears of joy. My joy turned into sadness within two months time, when the machine started dispensing the wrong amount of ounces. It has done it consistently since then. I have poured my coffee into measuring cups to confirm. I make myself 28 ounces of coffee every morning, sometime I get enough for a cup, sometimes, I get enough for two. Sometimes I don't get enough at all. The water is now leaking out of the bottom of the water reservoir and leaves a puddle under the machine almost daily. The single cup has not worked since almost the beginning when one of my children went to brew some tea with a tea pod. It spewed out steam and the lid popped open and since then we have never been able to use the pod portion. The lid of the pod adapter pops open during brewing. I am not sure if I just got a defective machine or if they all function this way but I am so sad and disappointed. I always think of leaving a review, but never bothered until today when I went to brew my 28 ounces of coffee and ended up with maybe only 12. I'm sitting at work with my pitifully small cup of coffee that and decided today is the day I speak up. And yes, I have read all the FAQ, Troubleshooting, I have watched so many Youtube videos on cleaning and tried them all. Nothing has worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Dualbrew is really the best coffee machine . I included pictures from the box so you could see what I am so impressed about. We can brew regular ground coffee a cup or a pot. Or we can use pods We can make a specialty drink. With this coffee machine. We don't have to have all of the extra machines. It's so freeing to get back some space. I love it.

this is my second coffee maker, the first one was possessed, the second one the hot plate quit working, you can brew a full pot and the hot plate turns off after 15 minutes, I went through the manual and played with the time it stays on but no success. so I have expensive K-cup maker. I have had this only maybe 6 months. My Mr. Coffee maker that is 5 years old makes a better pot of coffee. Just better off buying smaller K-cup maker. Like few reviews on here, I also get grounds in my cup every now and then. I am sad, coming from the military and love my coffee. have to have my old coffee maker out of retirement.
