In Love

I've had this for about 2 months now and it hasn't disappointed! I love the frother, the option to boil water for tea, and that it also allows kcups. So happy with my purchase

Coffee grounds everytime

My coffee machine is brand new. I have only made 4 cups off coffee with the k cups and every time I end up with grounds in my coffee...I'm so bummed I really wanted to love this machine. Guess it's back to the old Keurig...

Coffee pot that won't make coffee

I bought this over the summer and have had nothing but issues with it, it shuts down every time I try to make a k-cup of coffee. I have cleaned it many times and still have had no luck with it.

Stopped working after 13 months.

The coffee maker would not work correctly after 12.5 months. Steam comes out of top and sides and nothing brews. Cleaned it according to Ninja instructions still won't work. Nothing can be done since it is 20 days out of warranty.

Best coffee maker ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this coffee maker! It has so many great features and different ways to make coffee, but still small and fits perfectly on the counter. I love that I choose what size pot of coffee I want to make without any guesswork. I love that I can make iced coffee or froth milk to make a cappuccino. I love that I have to option of making a whole pot, or just one cup using a pod. The digital display is fantastic and easy to understand. The removable water reservoir is perfect and allows for easy water fill ups. I appreciate the hot water feature that does not use the coffee water line so I can make oatmeal or my son can have hot chocolate that doesn't taste like coffee. This is a fabulous machine and it is my new favorite kitchen appliance!

Very disappointing! Terrible after the first brew!

We bought this a couple of weeks ago. The first brew was fine, but had a few coffee grounds in the carafe. Every singles brew after had over an inch of grounds in the carafe. We cleaned and cleaned, even adjusted the amount of grounds, ran just water through, but no matter what it had and inch or more of grounds and the basket would be backed up with water. At one point I brewed 4 pots in 2 hours trying to get it to brew correctly. I really wanted this coffee maker and am so disappointed. We returned within a few days, but are still waiting for our refund.

12-cup carafe holds 8.5 cups.

I had an older model and enjoyed some of the features, so I had an idea what to expect. The main reason I purchased this item was because of the advertised 12-cup carafe. It turns out, it will only brew 55 oz, less then 7 cups. It's not like there is 41 oz of free space in the carafe once the pot is brewed. Total capacity of the carafe is about 68 oz.

Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. The Ninja CFP301 DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System, Single-Serve, Pod, and 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker is a delight. Set up took a few minutes to figure out but it was smooth drinking after that. I use the single serve cups once in a while and the full pot for the morning. It is easy to transition from one to the other. The water vessel can be on the side or the back. It can do iced coffee and specialty coffees too. It has a milk frother if you like that. I like the richness settings. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Love the maker not the pot.

Got this for xmas. The maker itself is very well engineered. The only complaint I can nit pick on would be that it spits and makes a little mess when using kpods. BUT, if you get this DO NOT get the model with the metal pot. It is both useless as a container to keep things hot and DANGEROUS at the same time. The pot is horribly insulated and wont keep coffee drinkable temp for more than about 2 hrs. At the 2 hr mark coffee is cool enough to pour on your hand. The metal pot model does not come with a warmer. You can get almost 4 hrs of warmth if you pre-heat the pot with hot water inside and out letting it hold hot water for a minute or two and then empty, fill and repeat twice. This wastes a ton of water but gets you hot coffee for longer. I REALLY wish they got me the glass pot model with the warmer. I honestly curse this thing every morning. But even worse the metal pot is DANGEROUS. Not sure if it gets some kind of vapor lock when the pot is fresh and hot but your first pour the coffee sometimes barely comes out and then all of a sudden comes pouring out very fast. if you are not careful this WILL BURN YOU. So just be careful folks, the metal pot is not good.

If it stops working, try unplugging it

Last week my coffee maker started giving me the add water error message, even though the reservoir was full. I went through all the troubleshooting steps online, and when none of those worked, they directed me to call customer support. Customer support told me that since my machine was out of warranty, there was nothing that could be done. Since it's an electronic device, I figured I'd unplug it and see if that did anything. I left it unplugged for about a day and a half, and guess what - it works perfectly fine again. Still dinging Ninja for this because I am sure they know about this and their troubleshooting team could have suggested it. But I hope I can help someone salvage their machine!
