Made to not last!

Some good advice here. Do not get this washing machine! I have never had a brand new appliance give me so much trouble and frustration in this short amount of time. I have this washer for 5 years and it has been constantly unbalanced for the last 2. The suspension rods have been changed already once and they need to be replaced again. This washer is not meant to last. After just a couple of years experience parts need to be replaced to last a few months and start all over again, or get a new washer all together, very environmentally friendly, right? So FRUSTRATED with this machine!!

Hate them sadly

I've had the washer and dryer for over 6 months now so I've given them a fair shot but I hate them, especially the dryer. All but two of the cycles on the dryer are utterly and completely useless because they leave your clothes wet no matter what you do. The sensor thinks clothes are dry when they aren't so even if you restart one of the cycles they'll turn off a minute later because it keeps thinking the clothes are dry for some reason. The only way to use the dryer is to use the time dry setting and manually set it every time. The washer is mostly okay but it has its quirks like if you accidentally turn it off it goes through some shutdown process and you have to wait like 10 minutes to be able to turn it back on and wash your clothes.

Amazing Washer Machine that does the trick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After dealing with persistent mold issues in my old LG, the Samsung washer was a breath of fresh air. Design & Build: First off, this machine looks fantastic. Its sleek white design elevates the entire look of our laundry space in the downstairs bathroom. Plus, the soft-close lid is a subtle yet invaluable feature for those of us always on the move and forget that the old one always slammed down. Key Features: The cleaning power is commendable, ensuring clothes are thoroughly cleaned in record time. And no more wrestling with a noisy, wobbly washer like our old LG - Samsung's stability tech makes sure of that. Smart Functions: If the washer faces an issue, the Smart Care feature is a quick way to troubleshoot, saving time and potential service costs. Hopefully we won't have to use that feature! Performance: The heart of this machine, its Digital Inverter Motor, is both silent and efficient. It's clearly built for longevity and optimal performance. Conclusion: Transitioning from the LG to the Samsung WA54CG7150AW was one of my best decisions. With fresher, cleaner clothes and no more mold, it's made laundry day a breeze. If you're pondering a new washer, this one's worth serious consideration.

I guess it's fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this about 5 times. Although that's not many times to write a comprehensive review, I will write what I can. Overall, this is fine. One positive is it is very large, big enough to wash pillows and comforters. I like how you can see through the lid to see your laundry. The clothes seem to come out clean enough. I also like that you can program it to end at a certain time. This lets me start washing it in the middle of the night to take advantage of lower electricity rates. I like how it senses how much water to use. Now, this is where most of the positives end. Prior to this washer, I had one of those good old fashioned washers with an agitator and no electronic control panel. It was still working quite well, and there are a lot of things that it did that this Samsung washer does not. On a side note, I don't really see the point of the laundry soap dispenser as it pretty much just gets washed into the drum immediately. Anyways, this washer will not allow you to add a lot of clothes mid cycle. The machine senses how much water you need, and then fills it accordingly. If after it is filled, you decide you want to add clothes, it will not add more water. Also, I like to use cold water to soak the clothes for hours or even half a day. However, if you pause it to allow it to soak, you can't program it to start at a later time. You would have to go and press the button again to get it running. This is not good if you want to run it in the middle of the night for lower electricity rates. In addition, once you pause it, you also can't use the app to start it again. You can only use the app to start the cycle from the very beginning which is pointless for how I want to use it. In addition, to use the app, the washer needs to be turned on at the washer. Why can't the app turn it on? I do find it neat that you can find out how much electricity you used. However, keep in mind this doesn't take into account the added cost of using warm or hot water. All in all, it seems to be a decent washer. Time will tell how reliable it is.

Love it so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It must be the ease of using the washer and dryer that I feel like I must wash 2-3 loads every other day. The washer is extremely large where I have to stand on my tippy toes to get all of clothing out and it does hold quite a few items. It’s quiet and easy to use. I do need to learn about all of the settings but so far so good. I love the Wi-Fi capabilities and how we can set the setting we want from my phone and how it notifies me when my load is complete. The only thing I haven’t looked into and dislike is how long the song is once complete. I am sure we can change that somehow.

Don't be fooled by bells and whistles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are way more negatives than positives so I'll start with the positives. It is very large, big enough to wash pillows and comforters, and I like how you can see through the lid to see your laundry. The clothes seem to come out clean enough. I also like that you can program it to end at a certain time. This lets me start washing it in the middle of the night to take advantage of lower electricity rates. This is not good if you want to run it in the middle of the night for lower electricity rates. In addition, once you pause it, you can only sometimes use the app to start it again. It seems like the smart control button which allows you to use your app times out after awhile. You can definitely use the app to start the cycle from the very beginning, but that is pointless for how I want to use it. In addition, to use the app, the washer needs to be turned on at the washer. Why can't the app turn it on? I do find it neat that you can find out how much electricity you used. However, keep in mind this doesn't take into account the added cost of using warm or hot water. Also, all the different cycles that they show are just different combinations of water temperature and how much you want it to spin. In addition, if after you've filled the washer, you want to change to a different cycle on the dial, it drains all the water and soap and makes you start all over. How wasteful is that? It doesn't let you change water temperature once it starts filling it either without starting all over. I actually prefer my good old washer with manual controls. This washer seems to have so many bells and whistles with different cycles, but it is really all a trick to make it seem fancier than it really is. All in all, it seems to be a decent washer and does the job, but there are many issues with it. Time will tell how reliable it is.

Nice unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with the style of the washer, attractive color option and features. Quality ot the unit thus far seems to be very good, though time will tell, as we have owned it for less than a week at this time.

Happy with the new Washer Dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this washer and the partner dryer for several months now. We have experienced no major issues, and used most of the wash cycles provided. We've used tear away washer detergent sheets, pods and liquid detergents. We have several dogs, and were attracted to this model based on the petcare systems included. We have been underwhelmed by the performance of that system, in comparison to the extended wash time it requires (nearly 2 hours in both washer and dryer). We have only noticed a small difference on blankets or clothes between that cycle and the quick cycle wash (40-50 minutes). The water usage seems and energy usage seems to be efficient, we've noticed a decent drop in our monthly bills since install. The design is sleek and so far has been resistant to any stains or dents. Installation was easy.

Samsung Washer is phenomenal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung outdone themselves with this washer! We have French Bulldogs, Frenchtons and an English Bulldog. We have LOTS of pet bedding, blankets, clothes and washable pads and this machine can handle it all! I love the Pet Care option and the bedding/waterproof option on the washer. I was surprised at how clean the pet items came out and the odor was gone! The magic filters that catch all the pet hair is a dream!! The fact that I can control this from my phone using the SmartThings app makes it even better! Looking forward to laundry day, which is a first!

Great pet feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago now, and so far everything has worked great. I love the pet hair feature! I have a golden retriever and a German short haired point and both dogs shed. This washer has proved to remove more pet hair from clothes, bedding, and towels when compared to my previous walker. I like the customizable settings also as some of the cycles can be long for a washer or dryer.
