[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a family of 5 with 4 dogs, the large drum is great as it reduces the number of laundry loads we need to do. As the drum is so deep, my wife who's 5'5" does have a little trouble reaching the bottom of the drum. The pet cycle seems to do a great job of removing dog hair from the bedding and clothes.

I intentionally purchased the Pet Care feature as I was getting tired of washing my face with a wash cloth only to find it covered in cat hair. Well the new washer does not disappoint! I purchased this washer after having my previous Samsung washer for over 10 years with zero issues, so I expected similar reliability. Unfortunately, this has been a huge disappointment—I would give it negative stars if I could. One of the main reasons I chose this model was its large capacity, specifically to wash blankets and comforters. However, it cannot handle them at all. The load becomes unbalanced, and the machine repeatedly fills with water and attempts to spin without success until I manually stop it and redistribute everything. To make matters worse, the lid frequently locks and won’t open, forcing me to reset the washer. Even the self-clean cycle has failed—it throws a 4C error code, fills with water, stops mid-cycle, and locks the door again. I’ve only owned this washer for a little over a year, and I’m already ready to replace it. I would not recommend this product—save your time and money.
