No wrap ineffective
I bought the vacuum with the 60 day dock. Constantly have to take apart to clean the “no wrap” brush roll. I run it at max cleaning level and still leaves debris on floor. In all fairness I have golden retrievers who produce a lot of hair, but my old vac did a much better job. Only improvement is the navigation

I think the product line has gone down in quality
Bought one at Christmas and it broke the first week. I returned it and got a new one. That one broke three weeks later. Returned it and tried one last time. That one broke after two months. I returned it and just bought the model that I had previously that lasted 5 years. Not sure if it is the model or if the entire product line has gone down in quality. I will find out with the new one...

Bad app, user interface, and cleaning settings.
This vacuum is terrible. The app always forgets your login. And it goes out to clean and does a partial clean most times. It's not set to do that it just quits and goes back to the doc without a reason. The logic within the app is also terrible, I have a small first floor- easily small enough to do the Matrix clean on one charge, but it won't let you do that option unless you choose a single room to do it. That's a manual process. And we put it on do not disturb once when someone was sleeping on the couch and now it puts itself on Do not disturb all the time without us wanting that. It's a complete fail of a vacuum.

Best Robot Vacuum for the money!!
This is my first robot vacuum I ever owned, I did a lot of research on all the models. This is the best robot vacuum for the money that was spent. I bought it on sale and added a extended 3 year warranty, figured might as well. I been running this vacuum for 3 times a week for the last 4 months, nothing but great results. I did however have to remap my house, someone left a closed door open, so I think the robot got a little mixed up. It's best to close the doors you don't want the robot in and let it map the house. We bought this mostly for all the animals fur in the house, we have two cats and a Border Collie dog. I was amazed to see how much dirt & fur it picked up on the first time we ran it. I have it on a set schedule now, so I don't have to worry about it. Highly recommended for high traffic areas or animals owners, best 300 bucks I spent in a long time.
I tried this vaccuum twice, hoping the first was just a bad one. But nope, returning this one too. It did great for about 2 weeks, now when I tell it to clean, it just undocks, spins around a few times and docks again, saying task complete, no matter what room I tell it to clean. I've checked everything, nothing is stuck or broken. Do not recommend.

falls very short of expectations
unit was very hard to get paired. had to reconnect 3 different times. got an update from shark and had to go thru a lot of crap to get it reconnected. then, the small guide wheel dissappeared. had to call and they had no wheels in stock. now, they are sending a new unit. too much crap for me.

I could not hate this thing any more than I do
I could not hate this thing any more. The new lidar replaces the technology that used to work with the magenetic strips. We have furniture with open bases. The robot constantly climbs up on the bases and scratches them up and gets stuck. Talked with support many times. Set up "no-go" zones. They don't work...such a waste of time. Revised them multiple times to the point where half the room was cut off, still it doesn't obey the "no-go"zones 95% of the time. It's loud. And now, its six months old and we keep getting a notice that the lidar is blocked by dust. The troubleshooting tips are useless. I had to resort to a Reddit thread to figure out how to fix this problem, which occurs frequently. Oh, and the app keeps logging me out. Huge pain. I hate this thing so much. I've had two other sharks that I had for years. They were great. This one is trash. It cleans well... that's about all I can say positive about it.

Doesn't clean well, and brush keeps falling out
I purchased this to replace a Shark Robot that I had for about 5 years. It was so good, I figured any Shark would be similar. I was wrong. This robot never started at the scheduled time, and then would run for about 30 minutes, dock and then run again 3 hours later. It didn't clean even remotely as good as my other one, I still had little bits of crumbs on the floor. The little brush kept coming off and I would have to look around the house to try to locate it. I think it finally got lost under one of the beds. I wish I could have my old vacuum back!!

We bought the Shark Matrix to replace our first Shark after a solid 5 years of service. Three dogs worth of dog hair everyday is a lot to keep up with and this bad boy nails it every time! We initially purchased a different brand, but after the first use and constantly having to free that vaccum from our rugs, we were reminded why we love Shark so much! I haven’t had to free the Matrix from a single rug yet and my floors are much cleaner! If you're in the market, this is well worth it!
Not worth it for the price.
To start off, I automatically don't recommend this because it's obstacle avoidance is pure garbage. This thing will just push objects until it either gets its wheels caught or pushes an object into a wall. For example in my picture, it somehow doesn't see there was a power cord under the couch. So even while getting resistance, it forced its way further into the couch to get stuck and the power cord to wrap around the side brush. Another huge issue is you cannot schedule cleanings for specific rooms, the only option is the whole house. So if you want to only do one room, you're forced to create no-go zones for the entire house except the one room. If you then want to do the whole house, you have to remove the zone, have it clean, then put the zones back afterwards for your schedule. Supposedly more expensive models let you schedule specific rooms. If that is the case, that is a poor excuse because there realistically is no reason to prevent this model from doing it. A third issue is the cleaning roller will get tangled with hair easily. On the first use, it was already full of hair. Also if you have pets, the 30 day storage is completely false. It literally filled up on the first cleaning. I honestly recommend looking for a different brand.
