The quality is good. However there are two layers of ribs in the package and the top layer is no indication of what you are getting on the bottom layer. The bottom layer are where they hide the scrap pieces and the pieces you would never choose, if you had the choice.

I bought two packs of flanken cut beef ribs to host a KBBQ at home with friends and family. One pack was more than I need, and good thing I didn't marinade the second pack but instead vacuum seal it for later use. Each pack contains about 12 flanken cut been ribs. The top layer of ~8 ribs is beautifully marbled and the second layer of 4 ribs beneath is mostly thinner, not necessarily smaller, and packed with more fat than meat. No problem, because the charred fat on these bad boys after tanning on a rip roaring hot grill are too good to pass up!

I bought first time on OCT 2019, was fascinated with tenderness and flavor. Bought them again DEC 2019 terrible, I understand fat is flavor but the hidden layers were unbelievable fatty and the top ones were tough and bad. I'll try them again next month if they taste like first time , will put 5 stars

Beef Short Ribs were very nicely marbled with fats and it was delicious. However, the process to pick up at the Sam's were a bit unknown about how it will charge to my account. Because what Sam's charge were much higher than what my actual purchased amount was. No one seems to know what will happen to the overcharged amount. From my account it show $75 were processed when I complete the order. I went to Sam's and pick up an order and a few days later it show actual amount $45 has been taken out of my account. I hope Sam's train all employees to train so customers wouldn't get concern about charges.

The top ones came very beautiful, but the following layers came only bones and grease, not worth at all, only the top layers were eatable , the rest was garbage ! I am very disappointed because I trust 100% in Sam's products and it has always been very much satisfied , but this one was very disappointing item !

Yes, it's very fatty. But it's good for K-BBQ style meat. The quality is good for the price. Korean supermarkets will charge at least $7 (sale prices) for worse cuts/quality. I purchased a jar of marinade for $3-5 and end up saving a lot of money. I will be buying this from Sam Clubs going forward.

These used to be amazing. Thinly and evenly sliced, not too thick and not to thin. Good portions of meat/fat/bone ratio. Now you get extremely thick cuts/ more bone & huge fat chunks with no meat. What disappointed me the most is the deceitful packaging. They put a few some what decent looking strips on the top layer and the bottom layer is all bones & fat. I used to buy these once a week for bbq or instant pot. I’m very sad these have became so bad, please revert back to the previous standards.
