No way to remove paper jam. No instructions included. "Home" button unresponsive

I can't believe it - I got this printer, set it up, just to learn that double sided printing is MANUAL only. I didn't even think to research that since I thought that was standard in all printers. I am so dissapointed and now this printer when returned will likely get tossed since the ink is loaded etc... Terrible for the environment. Please don't make the same mistake if you are looking for a double sided printer. It was easy to set up and I like the refillable ink, but of no use to me without that feature.

I have been using the Epson ET-2840 Special Edition for over six months, and overall, I am pleased with both the printer and the scanner functions. After years of using HP printers, I made the switch to Epson due to the high cost of HP ink and the lack of ongoing software support for my previous model. For business documents and black-and-white printing, this printer performs reliably. However, I have been disappointed by the ink usage. While the printer is advertised as yielding roughly 4,000 pages per tank, I am not seeing anywhere near those numbers. Even accounting for the initial system charging, I have printed only about 250 pages, and my black ink tank is already less than half full. Based on my current usage, I estimate the actual yield will be closer to 750–1,000 pages per tank. Regarding color printing, the output is functional but lacks vibrancy; the colors, particularly blue, appear flat and not entirely true to the original. Furthermore, even with my printing being primarily black and white, I have already used a quarter of my color ink tanks after only 250 pages. The scanner works well and meets my needs. The ink efficiency is lower than advertise but I think this is true for many printers. Still a very economical printer. I would buy again.

Love how long the ink lasts but the printer heads wore out in a shorter period that I would have thought. I do a lot of printing however. I still purchased another one because it’s a workhorse.

Prints very well. Doesn't use too much ink. REFUSES to stay networked. Forget running it wirelessly. I have to use a cable to be able to use the darn thing

This is the second Eco Tank printer bought for our small business. The savings we realize from not having to purchase ink cartridges is the biggest reason we purchased the 2nd one.

Bought the first one for it to leak ink. I took it back and replaced it just for the second one to not print properly even after running maintenance on it smh

We loved this so much we bought one for our daughter. If you run out of a color, you only refill that color…and the price of refill ink in all three colors is far less than a cartridge.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Prints great pictures and I love the canister ink containers! Did I mention it was a great price. $100 cheaper than in store printer.

So far it’s been a great printer. Love this ink. This is our 2nd printer that we sent to our daughter in college in Colorado. She loves it and we love ours. I would recommend to anyone.
