After getting tired of paying tons for ink cartridges we decided to give this printer a try. Debated between this one and the less expensive unit, and we're glad we went with this model for its extra features and bonus ink bottles. Set up was pretty easy and it works great with our Chromebooks, Windows laptop, and iPhone. I have not used it a lot but from what little I did, it worked great with really fast speed and great quality. I would highly recommend this printer.

Easy to set up and full with ink! Print quality is great for flyers and basic printing. I am excited about the eco tank since cartridges never seemed to last long before they either dried out or ran out in my past Epson printers. Very simple to fill the ink as well.

This is a very nice printer. The only thing I will say is that I had an eco tank before this one and was was much easier to print from my phone. On this new one you have to go into iPrint, then if it’s a photo or a document and if you don’t do it exactly right it won’t print. So the older model I had was much easier to use.

If you are still buying expensive ink refills this is your wake-up call to make the change. This printer works very well even in an office environment with everyday printing. The refills last a long time, and they are very affordable. Easy to use and install. I use this one at my studio with my phone and the app to print without a computer. Already have one at home and purchased 2 where I used to work- one for the office and one for my boss's home.

Love it so far, I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but ink seems to be holding up well. Prints with bright color as expected. I like that you can see the ink level. Set up was easy was afraid I’d get ink on me but was easy to do with stopper tops on bottles.

Printer setup is easy and printer works great. Upon registering the printer Epson assigned a warranty expiration date about 6 months from my purchase date. It took 5 phone calls and 4 emails to get them to update the warranty expiration date to one year (Sam's Club add says it has a two year warranty). So now I'm back to running circles in the Epson support system to get the warranty expiration date corrected to 2 years from purchase date. If I had know how much effort this has taken I would've bought a printer from a different manufacturer!!!!

Not my best decision on a printer. Epson's app won't load onto my Windows 11 HP laptop so I can't take advantage of all the features. I can't scan multiple pages; each page is a separate file. The LED display is too small to read without a magnifier glass and text is sometimes vague on instructions. I plan to return it for a refund and purchase a printer from HP.

Horrible print quality. I haven't seen print quality this bad since the dot matrix printers of the 80s. I bought this because I despise the printer cartridge scam that's pretty much ubiquitous--sell the printer cheap, charge ridiculous money for the cartridges, then show the cartridge as empty when it's still half full. However, the tradeoff with this piece of garbage is not worth it.

Very disappointed with the durability of this printer I purchased this Epson EcoTank ET-2840 new from Sam’s Club in August 2024. It worked well until it suddenly failed with an E-01 / 000041 error after just over two years of normal home use. The printer was working perfectly just days before the failure. I followed all of Epson’s troubleshooting instructions, powered it off and unplugged it, carefully checked the paper path and inside the printer for jams or foreign objects, and completed the troubleshooting steps shown on the printer. Nothing fixed the problem and the same error continues to appear at startup. I specifically purchased an EcoTank because I expected a reliable, long-lasting printer. I am extremely disappointed that a printer that has been well cared for failed after only a little over two years. I have now contacted Epson for assistance. Based on my experience, I would not purchase this model again.

I have used the Epson Eco tanks for years, but this particular one is the worst. It’s not the best quality in the world. It’s not very sturdy the ink they already had wouldn’t work in it so that means I have to buy new bottles every time for this one and it only prints on one side of the page it won’t flip it over and print on both sides. I really miss the paper feed and I’m just really unhappy with it. The print quality isn’t near as good either do not buy it go to step up and buy a better product.
