I have used the Epson Eco tanks for years, but this particular one is the worst. It’s not the best quality in the world. It’s not very sturdy the ink they already had wouldn’t work in it so that means I have to buy new bottles every time for this one and it only prints on one side of the page it won’t flip it over and print on both sides. I really miss the paper feed and I’m just really unhappy with it. The print quality isn’t near as good either do not buy it go to step up and buy a better product.

Not my best decision on a printer. Epson's app won't load onto my Windows 11 HP laptop so I can't take advantage of all the features. I can't scan multiple pages; each page is a separate file. The LED display is too small to read without a magnifier glass and text is sometimes vague on instructions. I plan to return it for a refund and purchase a printer from HP.

Absolute garbage. After six months, all ink jets got clogged and after numerous attempts to clean them, the best I got was a poor black print. Too bad we can't do zero stars. And unfortunately this is out of warranty and Epson customer service has never been known to be any good. MInd you, I have been a Sams member since 1991. I think I will just bring this to my local club and drop it on the customer service desk. May somebody will be able to do something. But lesson learned, if you are looking for an ink tank printer, look at a different brand.

This printer is pure garbage. I printed a 42 page document that took 38 minutes to print. The printer crashed twice during the print and forced me to restart my computer and print again. It took nearly 30 minutes to setup, would only find the WiFi after shutting down the software and restarting several times (even thought the printer could find it with no problem.)

This is the 3rd EcoTank printer I've purchased over the years and they've all been good. The reason I marked this down a few stars is because getting the warranty set up was really bad. When I registered the printer on Epson's website, it told me the warranty had already expired the previous month. After multiple emails and phone calls, it appears Sam's had these printers in the warehouse so long that the warranty was no longer valid, even though it was supposed to be for two years from date of purchase. I had to send photos of the printer, serial number and the receipt to Epson and supposedly they are going to renew the warranty....fingers crossed. I won't know for several days. The printer itself is great, but Sam's fell short by keeping these for so long making the registration process pretty frustrating.

Horrible print quality. I haven't seen print quality this bad since the dot matrix printers of the 80s. I bought this because I despise the printer cartridge scam that's pretty much ubiquitous--sell the printer cheap, charge ridiculous money for the cartridges, then show the cartridge as empty when it's still half full. However, the tradeoff with this piece of garbage is not worth it.

I like the way it prints, the initial set up was easy: unpacking, adding ink. The wireless connection was not as easy as I had planned. It took hours on and off, called Customer support who were very professional but it took more than one call before I received the links to download the updated drivers and software to my computer and phone both are Apple products. Since I was successful in getting that completed the printer works great, I can print wirelessly from my laptop or my iPhone, I can scan and copy effortlessly. It dose not seem to use much ink when printing time will tell, I am happy with my purchase at the price I got at Sam's.

Great printer for home or light office use. It was easy to set up with or without their phone app. Print quality was good and fairly fast from start to finish. Ink tanks are simple to fill and should last for longer than the old cartridge style. This Epson is much better than the HP it replaced.

Very disappointed in Sams Club obvious misleading customers on the special edition 2840 printer. I purchased twice with both times receiving the wrong item. The special edition with 2 free bottles of black ink is advertised but both in store and shipping orders I placed, the standard version of the 2840 was received. I even complained both on line and in store but Sams continues to sell the standard version and not the advertised SE version. The SE version is clearly marked on the picture in the ad. The item sent is the product that's been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Not the SE version. If your going to send out the out dated standard version at least send extra ink to compensate

This printer will not print on both sides of the paper automatically. You have to take each sheet out and reload it to get the backside printed. Too much trouble. spend a little more and save yourself the hassle. I do like the idea of the ink tanks instead of the cartridges. My last Epson printer lasted 11 years. I don’t think I will keep this one very long.
