This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2840 Special Edition Wireless Color Supertank printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. When I first saw this printer I was a little skeptical. I personally have not been a fan of inkjets since Color Lasers came out. Primarily because I never had a good experience with Printer Cartridges and more specifically print heads and them drying out. Refillable cartridges were a flop completely. Naturally when seeing a tank based system like this one I was a little skeptical although I will say I have been pleasantly surprised. Between the ease of setup and filling of the tanks I am a fan. The print quality is about what you would expect for this price point but I can see a great value in its TCO. Since trying out this printer I have found myself printing more than I used to without fear of running out of ink. It's been great!

I bought this printer because it had an ecotank. Decided to switch from HP to Epson. The setup was simple and filling the tanks was super easy. Went to print the first print job and realized it does not print two-sided. Really? I thought that was a standard feature on all printers today. I guess I will figure out how to manually flip pages in every print job.

I absolutely love the fact that I can print everything wireless and fast!..... The copy feature works so well for all of my invoices and receipts.... The fact that I dont have to buy separate cartridges for each color will be amazing..... I have used other printers from other makers and nothing has ever compared to Epson Quality!....Even though this is not a Photo Printer, if you print on Glossy Epson Paper.....it looks amazing.....I also, printed all of my new color business cards this week. on the ET-2840.... super happy with this printer.....

I have a college student who is always asking me to print stuff. I had a different printer with the ink cartridge that cost $54 dollars for a 2 ok of black. I hated trying to refill it with the needle head and ink cause it created a huge mess on my hands. The first thing I noticed about this is the bottles the ink comes in. They are fairly large and I was intrigued. Setup took about 15 minutes. 11 of those minutes is after you put the ink in the tank , it has to calibrate or something like that. It only does this the fort time you set it up. The app setup was super easy. I love that I can print directly off my iPhone or my son can hook his computer up wired to the printer. In terms of print quality, it’s actually really good! I was also surprised how fast it printed! When it comes to refilling the ink, I’ve already priced it and I’m going to end up probably pay $30 for 2 bottles of black and it will last a lot longer than the cartridge and a lot cheaper! I am super pleased with this and hoping that it last a long time because I’m like the ink cost refill for it. Lol

This printer is a great addition to my workspace. It has fast printing capabilities and clear quality. The set up is a bit extensive, but I appreciate the environmentally friendly ink. No more cartridges going into a landfill. The ink is also easy to install and the LCD screen will walk you through the set-up. All in all, it is a great printer. I would definitely recommend.

This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2840 Special Edition Wireless Color Supertank printer, that I received free of charge, to do a beta test and review. The printer arrived very quickly and was packaged well, so it was in immaculate condition. I love the compact shape and the sleek, white design fits perfectly in my home office. It was extremely easy to set up by either following the instructions on the included paperwork, the printer itself, or using the Epson App. Love the idea of not having to deal with recycling spent cartridges. The tanks were very easy to fill and there was no spillage at all. It's nice to be able to see the actual ink levels through the well windows. The printer itself is quiet and quick which is a plus. Paper feeds through nicely. Scan to computer was seamless. The reason for three stars...I cannot get it to copy, I'm pushing buttons but there is no action at all. Also, my color prints seem dull, the detail is good but there is no vibrancy at all, even with the correct paper selection.

I’ve bought many printers in the last thirty years due to upgrades etc so I am smart enough to load these and the last 15 years with wireless ones… this one was confusing and didn’t explain in details each steps. Yes I love the easy load of ink that was easy yet that’s the one they focused on. What was clear was the loading of the software and I had to search for a long time the drivers for my printer and it took forever to get my desktop to communicate with the printer. I spent a good two hours total in getting it all done, usually only taking a few minutes. Even entering passcodes etc on the lil window screen on printer was difficult with the format… so far the printing is good and refilling should be a breeze.
