Easy to set up. Filling the ink is easy. Hopefully, the ink lasts as long as stated. Great price.

The printer is really slow. If you are not in a hurry then the printer works well and pictures print well.

Works really well after set up. Set up was a little difficult. My other Echo Tank 2800 came with a startup disk making it easy, this one did not.

Great deal! The tubes filled the tanks with a bit leftover. They say that the tank will do 30,000 copies! So great deal! Easy to fill. Hopefully I’m keeping the ink correctly and will last a long time!

“This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2840 Special Edition Wireless Color Supertank printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” I like the packaging this printer comes with, simple box with no foam, 2 pieces of setup guide paper and one power cable, no USB cables as it’s a complete wireless printer. Compact design, can even fit in a small corner in the table or bench, very light weight too. Excellent print quality, with sharp text and vibrant color graphics. I tried black & white pages, color prints and also color scan copies, I like the quality. Attached the photo of color print and its scan copy in this review. The printer was quick, taking only a few seconds to print a standard A4 page. I tried to print 30 pages doc and it’s printed in couple of minutes. Epson App is helpful for users to do the initial setup, I would say no paper guide is needed if anyone just installs the app and that guides throughout the setup. LCD screen is intuitive , able use the printer without a need of PC or Mobile, helpful while doing copy. Filling the ink is a good experience, bottle design is good as well which avoids any kind of spilling, brings up old memory of filling ink pens. Ink bottles which comes with the package is sufficient to fill the tank and will have around 20% remaining. Would be nice if Epson can provide a resealable bag to storge the ink bottles after the first fill. This printer doesn’t do automatic duplex printing, we need to do it manually. Few things which I felt could be improved are, Noise : During the initial setup and while printing , we hear too much noise. Vibration: Printer vibrates a lot on start and also while printing. This could be due to the printer weight, as its very light. Improving vibration could reduce some of the noise as well. The printer was reliable and consistently produced high-quality output all the time I used so far. Overall, I like the quality , bit noisy if you can manage it, it a good printer suitable for personal and small office use.

Recent purchase. Before attempting Start-up you need to take an Oath: Raise your left hand and solomly state that you shall remain "persistant so help you. After a long and persistant times I then realized that the product needed to be plugged into an AC outlet..................And behold!!! the start-up instructions made absolute sense. WORKS GREAT.

This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2840 Special Edition Wireless Color Supertank printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. As with many printers now the setup process has improved greatly in ease of use and getting printing. The ET-2840 is no exception. By leveraging the Epson app to quickly setup the printer by following a very simple step process I was able to get up and print very quickly and without any issues. Even when I had an issue with a step(which I missed) the app was able to quickly guide me through the step again so I could correct the setup issue I encountered. From a usage perspective, I found this printer to fit my needs. The printer itself is able to quickly print in both black and white and color. The crispness of the text being printed (or pictures) are great and easy to read. I was especially impressed with the ability to air print without any issue post-setup on my home network (I look forward to using this feature more over the life of the printer). I found the scanning functionality to be sufficient for my needs of an occasional document scan or to scan simple pictures to quickly digitize. Overall this is a great unit and I look forward to using it more and more in my home office.

When I first saw this printer I was a little skeptical. I personally have not been a fan of inkjets since Color Lasers came out. Primarily because I never had a good experience with Printer Cartridges and more specifically print heads and them drying out. Refillable cartridges were a flop completely. Naturally when seeing a tank based system like this one I was a little skeptical although I will say I have been pleasantly surprised. Between the ease of setup and filling of the tanks I am a fan. The print quality is about what you would expect for this price point but I can see a great value in its TCO. Since trying out this printer I have found myself printing more than I used to without fear of running out of ink. It's been great!

This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-2840 Special Edition Wireless Color Supertank printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. When I first received my new Epson EcoTank ET-2840 printer, I will admit I wasn't sure what to expect. I've only ever used "traditional" ink cartridges and those older ink toners/ribbon situations. I quickly opened the box and began setting it up. Set up was a breeze! I used wireless set-up and was so sure it would frustrate me, I typically have issues with connecting, but it connected so easily and stayed connected the entire time. I followed along with the prompts and when the ink was ready to be "installed", it went so well. It is very intuitive and user friendly. The remainder of the set-up and test went perfectly. Testing the printer itself over the last week has been a joy. I print a lot, because of my job and the ink levels (which are so handy to see displayed on the front of the printer) are hanging in there! I'm pleasantly surprised and could see the ink lasting me for quite awhile. I love how much cheaper the ink is than the traditional cartridges for how long it seems it will last - plus being more eco-friendly is a HUGE plus. The printer trays are easy to open and close as needed. (I have to keep mine closed when not in use, because I have a cat that has been known to break the paper tray in previous printers, because..well...she wants to sit there.) The screen and buttons on the printer are very intuitive. Having those controls so easy to access are fantastic. Printer quality-wise there are no complaints! The scanner does perfectly and my images all turn out absolutely as needed. I also love the printer app that makes it easy to control the printer from my phone. I have absolutely no complaints and look forward to working more with this printer in the future.
