Great price for lamb

This was great for making my lamb dish. You can't see the meat inside because of the wrapper so sometimes there is a thick layer of fat around it. You just need to cut it off and you're good to go

Great quality halal lamb

Great quality halal lamb and price isn't crazy. I cook it mostly on the rotisserie and it always comes out great. What I haven't been able to figure out is why it only sometimes comes with a pop up timer.

BEST MILDEST LAMB WE EVER ATE +GRASSFED, TOO

Very mild taste, tender as prime rib.Cut it to lay flat.Rubbed it with avocado oil, rosemary, lots of minced garlic, salt and pepper. Broiled to medium-rare, still juicy. All grassfed is healthier bonus. Best lamb we ever ate!

Not fresh lamb

The lamb from its smell not fresh at all looks like it's been in the fridge for long time .if you could get it fresh and freeze it immediately would be better

Wonderful!!!!

I do not like lamb - or so I thought. I have tried it on several occasions at different restaurants if others at the table order lamb and it was always had a strong gamey taste and odor. My son enjoys lamb, so I decided to grill some for his birthday this week. I researched products and recipes and decided to try this boneless leg of lamb from Sam's. I marinated it overnight in an infusion of rosemary, garlic, oregano, Himalayan pink salt, fresh ground black pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, and EVOO. I sliced it, 1 1/2 slices, grilled it over charcoal and hickory to medium doneness, turning frequently while cooking. Delicious flavor, wonder aroma, very tender - just plain good eating! I am a convert. I love lamb and this will be a frequent purchase for me at Sam's.

Lamb will stink when you open the package.

ALL LAMB SMELLS WHEN IT'S FIRST OPENED. Look at the fine print on the lamb packages. Mine always says this. YOUR SMELLY LAMB IS NOT SPOILED. The smell is normal. I opened one package recently and it smelled worse than any other package we've purchased (and we eat a lot of rack of lamb). I marinated it in dry spices for 2 days and roasted it and the lamb was delicious. It NEVER made us sick. Lamb naturally has a gamey taste and smell. Those of you who throw away smelly lamb fresh out of the package are wasting your money.

love it

I roasted it in the oven. Came out delicious. Took a little bit longer to cook than the package said. But it also depends on the oven I guess, not a big deal at all. Didn't have too much time to marinate. I coated it with garlic paste and rosemary and left it only for a couple hours. Came out great. My boyfriend never had lamb before he loved it

Worth the work?

I removed the elastic mesh wrapping. This boneless lamb is MINIMALLY processed. I sliced it open and was surprised at the amount of gristle, hard fat, connective tissue, and silver skin. The "GLAND" was already removed (praise the Lord). I worked VERY carefully with a sharp knife for at least 40 minutes to obtain a reasonably pure meat product. I butterflied the larger pieces, so everything was about 3/4" thick. A quick rub and into the Ninja 6-in-1 (lol). The result was VERY mild for lamb, no-dentures-required tender, and super delicious. I was thinking of getting a case for the freezer, but now I will just get a couple legs per year. Too much work for an 84-year-old disabled arthritis sufferer.
