Not sure,what the meat in there was, but it wasn't chicken. At least no chicken I've ever tasted. These were awful. The meat tasted like some kind of sausage that did not mix well with the enchilada sauce. We ended up having pizza. No one wanted any more of that. Expensive lesson.

I'm originally from South Texas but currently live outside the state in an area with not many (good) Mexican restaurants around. I picked these up on a day I was craving enchiladas but didn't want to make the family's recipe (using cream of chicken, still delicious but I was wanting enchiladas with a red sauce!). I was really surprised at how good these were! The cheese melted wonderfully in the oven and I sprinkled on some garlic salt as the chicken and sauce needed some flavor. I made rice and beans for the side and it was perfect - 10/10 would recommend!

First time trying these... Thought it was several small ones but instead it's three long tortillas soaked in sauce and cheese. Okay fine. Transferred to a dish... Then baked. Never could get crispy because of how soggy they are. Okay fine. Then... Then! The taste test. Hello salt. Basic enchiladas loaded with salt. Even the convenience (only relatively since they come in plastic..) is not worth this. Don't buy!

I still love this! I bought these enchiladas 2 years ago as my first meal in my new house, so it holds a special place in my heart. I am eating this right now, heated up in a separate pan (instead of the aluminum one provided) because I am a family of one and used my toaster oven. I garnished my plate with some things that were already in my fridge: lettuce that I shredded, a few halved grape tomatoes, a little diced onion and dollop of sour cream. I also added some salsa I had on-hand, but I really didn't need it. I can see how some reviewers might see it as salty, but when made as a full meal with garnish, I found it to be a perfect blend. Member's Mark Chicken Enchilada's continues to be my one of my favorites.

While preparing these I thought up a review that would suggest foil rather than plastic. While baking and curious I Googled foil trays, and during my research I found plenty of warning against using foil trays with tomato sauce because the aluminum will migrate into the sauce. So moving to plastic was the right thing to do. Anyway, I solved the problem of cleaning transferring to glass dish by freezing first. Then I tasted the enchiladas. WOW is that a LOT OF SALT! Nearly inedible. I drank four full 10 ounce glasses of water to consume one of these enchiladas. I track my blood pressure (because I can) and the next morning it was 11 points higher than it was the day before. 11 points! And I drank 40 ounces of water during and immediately after eating one enchilada. Why so much salt. We may always add more if desired, but removing salt is impossible. I will NEVER buy this product again.

I would have recommended any of the pre-made meals but since they have changed the packaging to all plastic and not aluminum anymore, it makes it more difficult to cook these. You lose half the sauce on the bottom because it gets stuck in the grooves. I won’t be buying anymore pre-made unless the packaging returns

Every since they cut back on the sauce and now that they quit using an oven safe pan, I have been less and less impressed. They taste great now, but could use more sauce. As far as the pan goes, it is now enough to keep me from purchasing them again. It is too much of a waste of what sauce you do have to move all of them into a foil pan just to cook them. What were they thinking?

Bought one today and cooked it. Ummm yeah, Not good at all. The chicken looked like it was put in a food processor. Then mixed with the sauce. Then cooled down into a nasty looking paste. Put in a tortilla and rolled up. Topped with a watery sauce with shredded cheese. Finished with a fine dusting of Parsley? When it finished cooking. It looked like a soup. NO chunks of chicken anymore. I hope this was a one off mistake. Or someone that didn't know what they are doing. It wasn't a pleasant outcome. Buyer Beware!

I love the enchiladas but was extremely disappointed now that they are coming in a plastic container. They used to come in a foil container that could go directly into the oven. That was very convenient. Now having to transfer it creates a mess and takes away a lot of the convenience during clean up. It is super frustrating that it seems like the only reason they would do this is to save themselves money. Very disappointed. This is actually the first time I have every reviewed a product. That is how disappointed I am. The only positive it that they taste great.

These are pretty good but several months ago they started putting in a plastic container and there were numerous complaints. I thought Sams heard its customers because the foil was brought back. Today's purchase is back in the plastic which means you have to transfer to another dish which is super hard to do and you lose half your sauce and toppings. It's super inconvenient and you have to wash a pan. I wont be buying again if they don't bringing back the foil. I'd rather pay an extra dollar if that's what needs to happen.
