Won't buy with the "new" plastic pan

The convenience was being able to pop off the lid and put it in the oven. I refuse to buy this in the plastic pan. It's messy to have to figure out how to transfer them to another pan. And then you have another pan and the utensils used to transfer it to wash + the mess to clean-up. They are too big to be able to move them without destroying them and make an unattractive dish. If I have to make a mess I can save money and not spend much more time. I usually have the rotisserie chicken, tortillas, cheese and sauce.

Delcious. But please change the container back to

My family and I love these. Not only do they taste great, but they used to be easy to cook. Note how I say, used to be. When they were in the aluminum pan, I could just take off the plastic lid, cover them with foil, and have dinner ready easy peasy. I mean it isn't the end of the world to have to transfer these into another pan, BUT can you guys please consider going back to an oven safe container?? It doesn't even have to be aluminum. Maybe something similar to a frozen lasagna? I'll change the 3 stars to a 5 if and when this happens.

Pleasantly surprised

I actually froze these and thawed in refrigerator before heating in oven. Served to company and they loved them. I did fix some rice and canned seasoned black beans to serve on the side. Also had hubby stop at Mexican restaurant for some white cheese dip to serve with it. I will be serving this again. Easy meal to prepare for company.

Soggy salt lick

First time trying these... Thought it was several small ones but instead it's three long tortillas soaked in sauce and cheese. Okay fine. Transferred to a dish... Then baked. Never could get crispy because of how soggy they are. Okay fine. Then... Then! The taste test. Hello salt. Basic enchiladas loaded with salt. Even the convenience (only relatively since they come in plastic..) is not worth this. Don't buy!

Used to be great

Every since they cut back on the sauce and now that they quit using an oven safe pan, I have been less and less impressed. They taste great now, but could use more sauce. As far as the pan goes, it is now enough to keep me from purchasing them again. It is too much of a waste of what sauce you do have to move all of them into a foil pan just to cook them. What were they thinking?

Fantastic!

I wasn't expecting much since I wasn't sitting in a booth and sipping on a margarita while waiting for these, but they are actually really good! I'm a frequent Tex-Mex diner, so I feel like I know good enchiladas and these were spot on. They are; however, made with flour tortillas, so I guess you'd call them smothered chicken tacos, but I like them and will buy again. Only negative is there's no nutrition info.

Sorry excuse for enchiladas!

These were just not good. I was impressed with the amount of sauce, but the sauce was low quality with odd taste. I don’t want to say generic brand taste because there’s a lot of generic brands that taste good in the sauce aisles but this sauce was just not good. Needs more cheese. I knew it was flour tortillas which was fine, when I make enchiladas I use white corn, but no complaints on the tortilla. The chicken was rotisserie and just chunks, not much attention given to making sure it was shredded up. The taste of rotisserie chicken doesn’t fit enchiladas. I’ve used canned chicken in enchiladas that tasted better. My opinion, skip these.

Good buy/Great food!!

My wife and I bought these on a whim. Saw them in the cooler bin and thought what the heck, let's give them a try. We threw them in the fridge when we got home and ate them 3 days later. OMG they tasted really good!! I'm not kidding! Easy prep by just putting aluminum foil over the top and heating for 40-45 minutes in the oven. We will definitely buy these again! Only downside is that the cheese on top of these will melt onto the aluminum foil if you put the foil right over the top of the enchiladas. Just give a little extra room with the foil.

Gringo Enchiladas on the Border.

I was really looking forward to these enchiladas. I had company and I heated them as directed and went to serve them. Imagine my surprise when they were fake enchiladas. I only hear of using flour tortillas in enchiladas when someone makes them who doesn't know how they are properly made. In this part of the country we never use flour tortillas for enchiladas. Always corn tortillas. They looked good, but tasted horrible. All gummy and gooey flour. Needless to say, I tossed the leftovers and will never buy them at Sam's again.
