Canned chicken?

We’ve bought these enchiladas a handful of times. I bought them yesterday and they were just gross. There’s no way that they used rotisserie chicken this time. It looked like canned chicken. I threw 90% of it in the trash. Disappointing New Year’s Eve meal!

So bad

I was so excited to try these, but they were so gross that no one in my family would eat them...even my husband who will eat just about anything. They were oddly salty, the chicken is chopped chunks of rotisserie chicken, and there was so much cheese that when I heated it up there was a pool of grease on the side.

Too doughy.

The instructions on the bottom of the label were too small and partially missing. I logged online for directions as I've had to do this before. I followed exact directions. They weren't too spicy, the dough was very doughy and wish they used corn instead of flour. I only ate the top part of each enchilada because the rest of the dough never cooked or just stayed. When it comes to nutrition, corn tortillas have the advantage of being made from whole grains, with fewer calories, sodium, and carbs but more fiber than flour tortillas. Corn tortillas are a good source of fiber and magnesium. ... Flour tortillas tend to pack more fat because they're usually made with lard or shortening. While some recipes use flour tortillas, corn tortillas are traditional and are the better option for enchiladas for good reason. Corn tortillas have a distinct flavor that plays a key part of the enchilada experience, compared to flour tortillas, which are more like a blank slate. I tried them, but won't buy them again.

Good

It was good and would buy again! You cant beat the cost to feed 4 people and super easy no work at all needed. Just throw in the oven and dinner is ready! It's more of a tex mex taste because they use rotisserie chicken so just dont except a mexican restaurant taste. Overall though very good for the price and would recommend.

I am not a big enchilada eater, but these looked really good so I decided to try them. It came out the oven looking delicious but tasting horrible. The chicken had an old taste not fresh tasting. I only gave this dish 2 stars because my son loved it, maybe my taste buds were off!!

Worth the money and tastes great!!!

I had never seen this at Sam's and had heard no feedback about it. It looked good and since we love Mexican food, my husband & I decided to try it. Definitely worth the money. $12 and we got a total of 6 meals off of it. It was delicious. To only have to bake it and top with sour cream, it doesn't get much easier.

Meh. Why flour tortillas?

This was an easy take-and-bake dinner. Mine came in a foil tray — all I had to do was replace the plastic lid with tin foil and bake it at 350F. It did take longer than the package stated (about an hour instead of 45 min), but that didn’t matter to me. The results were *okay*: there was plenty of cheese, but the sauce was bland and, sadly, they were wrapped in flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. If they had been made with corn tortillas, I would probably buy them again in the future and just jazz them up with some extra spices.

New PLASTIC PACKAGING

Very disappointed, I would buy these for my son's when I go to the cottage. This was a convenience way for them to reheat dinners. Now the whole idea is gone, they are too messy to transfer and bake, therefore, I'm done buying them. Like many other products, they skimmed down on PACKAGING. Your cold cuts are MISSING lids.

Delicious

These are great and I buy about once a week, for the person who complained about the label they apparently don't know what they are doing the directions are close to the top of label you can easily open without ruining directions, OR read the directions BEFORE you open it, set the temp on oven remove plastic lid and put foil on top how is that so hard to remember, imagine if they put the directions on the bottom the mess it would make tilting the product over to read... Nice and filling and recommend.

Salty don't waste your money

Chicken parts with cartilage so salty you can't even finish it! Horrible product.
