Great trash cans. The sensor lid works great. So much nicer than the step on lid release. The inside rim holds the bag in place.

After 15+ years I finally decided to get a new set from Sam’s club. My original NineStar kitchen (2) trashcans (one for a friend) were also purchased from Sam’s that long ago. The lid is still opening fine but it no longer closes unless I tap it then it’ll go down on its own. So I gave that to my mom and I purchased this new set. Works great, I love that this new one has a wider opening, makes it easier to put things in there. And the little one mimics the original style lid used on the old version kitchen size trashcan. It’s adorable and a good size for an office which is where I use it. Plenty of room in both!

Love both of these trash cans. I would recommend them to everyone. I love how they open when you wave your hand and then they close on their own. Thinking of buying more for more rooms as I really like how convenient they are.

Five stars all the way for the value alone! You can’t beat this price for both cans. They work almost too well considering the sensor goes off any time I get near one. I have four now in my home and don’t regret purchasing a single one.

These two Stainless Steel are great. A simple wave of your hand over the lid and it opens. This is super handy when your hands are full. I have had a set for several years, so I purchased a set for my father. They are a great help to him when he has his hands full and especially since he has arthritis in his hands. They are also very easy to clean when necessary.

I originally purchased a much larger nine star automatic sensor garbage bin that was too big for the kitchen as it was the only size on sale when I purchased the original. Though it also worked great, I gave it away and purchased this set which has been a pleasant addition to my kitchen. It’s battery operated and doesn’t open just because you walk by it. It opens with a gentle wave above the sensor. Once opened, it’ll stay open for a few seconds so trash can be thrown in before it closes on its own. If you’d like it to stay open longer, just press the open button and it’ll stay open until you press the close button. It’s tall, slim, and perfect. Works like a charm and I couldn’t be happier.

This is a set of 2. Only had for 2 weeks!!!! The large can's lid has already stopped closing flush. The small can is working great. Unfortunately, I can not return the large can only for replacement. I will have to return the set.

Received this item with a broken battery compartment cover. Annoying, but not the end of the world. Taped it closed and it worked for around 15 minutes before the sensor stopped working. When I returned it to the local store I was told it was the 2nd unit returned that day. Would not recommend.

Lid to big can does not work. Contacted Manufacturer and still no replacement. Waiting 12 days and not communicating with me on replacing.
