I purchased two of the 13.2 gallon cans with the smaller cans. The large cans are working great. One of the small cans worked for a few days then quit. The other small can never worked. I called the number listed for assistance, but got a recording and I never received a return call. I will try sending an email message. Hopefully I'll get a response from them.

I don’t like these trash cans. The sensor on the tall kitchen can is placed just in front of the lid. When you hover over the sensor, the lid opens, hitting the trash item you’re holding in your hand. I tried to use the small can in the bathroom. I sat it under the vanity to keep it out of the way. This placement doesn’t work because the sensor to open the lid is activated by the shadow from the vanity. This causes the lid to remain open. I moved the smaller van to a different location and it works fine. However, the tall kitchen trash can is just poorly designed. Perhaps I’ll eventually get used to it. Additionally the can seems smaller than my old trash can.

Too sensitive, had to turn it off because it opens every minute when we're busy in the kitchen, even when we pass by it. Figure batteries can make it quite expensive in the long run. We decided we will just keep it open and turn it on when we have company. It is cute. Also very thin aluminum. Guess the free one made it not worth returning.

Great trash cans for the kitchen and laundry room. The motion activating feature to open the lids is especially helpful on the smaller trash can. The previous trash can had a foot operated pedal and the small trash can would slide on the tile floor. This trash can stays in place when opened.

It works well and will open as soon as you get close to it, but the maximum strength batteries will only lasts about 4-5 days. This is the only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the frequent amount of times you have to replace the batteries.

Have had this for a month now and this can by far is better then the one I replaced it with. The old sensor trash can was about 8 years old and had a small opening to throw stuff away with. This new Nine Star has wide mouth and much easier to dispose of stuff. Great purchase and value.

I needed to get a new touchless garbage can as my other one was losing its power even after replacing batteries. The added bonus of a smaller one for the bathroom & it was on sale was sale. I just couldn’t pass up this deal. When I received it I was really impressed. I decided to order another set.

Perfect set, nicely priced. We decided on these because our puppy won't stay out of the regular can with a regular lid. They have worked perfectly to deter that behavior because she's scared of it. Also a deciding factor was the batteries, this set actually takes the same size so we were able to buy em at Sam's in bulk. Other sets required different size batteries for each can

Large opening trash can. Bunus small trash can I used for a bathroom. The trashcan is perfect for out uses. It has encouraged my kids to use it more often as well. The bag holder on the larger trashcan is perfect to ensure you get maximum use out of the 13.2 gallon trash bag. I have throughly enjoyed this purchase. I went with this one over others because of the opening of the top of the trash can.

I had considered buying a single 13 gallon one but just wouldn’t pull the trigger. It was difficult to spend the money for a simple convenience. When this set came up I knew I was going to buy it. We use the small one for our half bath and it works great! No more dog snooping in the garbage . Now he gets a gentle “pop” in the nose when he tries. He makes this bathroom and the pantry look so much nicer.
