I have bought several of these. Not because they break, but because I love them and give them as gifts. I needed to replace mine because the lid fell and bent, so it didn’t close all the way. The new one did not work at all. I will be returning. The small can worked,,but not the tall one.

I purchased two of the 13.2 gallon cans with the smaller cans. The large cans are working great. One of the small cans worked for a few days then quit. The other small can never worked. I called the number listed for assistance, but got a recording and I never received a return call. I will try sending an email message. Hopefully I'll get a response from them.

I’ve only had these for a couple weeks. So far I can say thT I do like them. They were just what I was looking for. Tall one is being used for garbage and smaller one I’m using for recycle of small paper products. That one is a bit small but they march so I’m going to empty often. They both fit nicely in pantry area and look good too.

These trash cans are such a good deal. The 13-gallon trash can has a sensor that will allow you to keep the lid open while you peel eggs or do other tasks that require the lid to stay open. When you are finished, simply push the close button, and the lid will close. I love this feature and the retainer ring which keeps the bag in place. The small trash container also has a sensor and retainer ring and works great in the bathroom for hands-free operation. We have had these trash containers for several weeks, and the batteries are holding up just fine. We would definitely purchase these again!

I've been using this trashcan for about a month and I'm very pleased. So far I have not had any problems. Would highly recommend it. So easy to use when your hands are full. Just wave it over the sensor and it automatically opens. No fumbling with trying to find the footpedal or opening it with full hands. I'm anxious to see how long the battery and the actual mechanism last.

Perfect set, nicely priced. We decided on these because our puppy won't stay out of the regular can with a regular lid. They have worked perfectly to deter that behavior because she's scared of it. Also a deciding factor was the batteries, this set actually takes the same size so we were able to buy em at Sam's in bulk. Other sets required different size batteries for each can

I've been looking for this kind of trash can for a long time. Every time I found one I liked, the price was way too high. This set of TWO sensor trash cans was a great deal. Now that we have them, my family doesn't know how we lived without them for so long. They're definitely on our list of all-time favorite purchases. I thought I wouldn't even want the smaller one, but it turned out to be very useful as well. The sensors are just the right sensitivity so they don't open simply from someone walking past them. They're also super easy to clean and don't require any kind of special cleaner. These trash cans came packed more securely than anything I've ever bought before, including computers. I've been very impressed with this purchase so far. Hopefully, they're around for many years to come.

Trash can arrived on time. First we were happy with it but afterward not so much. We realized you need to change the battery on those cans almost weekly and that is not good at all. So if you want the motion open and close function to work expect to pay $20 extra a month. Can size is fine.

I don’t like these trash cans. The sensor on the tall kitchen can is placed just in front of the lid. When you hover over the sensor, the lid opens, hitting the trash item you’re holding in your hand. I tried to use the small can in the bathroom. I sat it under the vanity to keep it out of the way. This placement doesn’t work because the sensor to open the lid is activated by the shadow from the vanity. This causes the lid to remain open. I moved the smaller van to a different location and it works fine. However, the tall kitchen trash can is just poorly designed. Perhaps I’ll eventually get used to it. Additionally the can seems smaller than my old trash can.

Very easy to assemble and clean and disinfect (with wipes). I like that it doesn't absorb odors like some plastic trash cans. I am caretaker for my 89 year old mother and it's really nice to not have to touch the lid every time i put trash in it. The little one is perfect in the bathroom and I love it for the same reasons as the 13 gallon.
