Trash can arrived on time. First we were happy with it but afterward not so much. We realized you need to change the battery on those cans almost weekly and that is not good at all. So if you want the motion open and close function to work expect to pay $20 extra a month. Can size is fine.

I’ve only had these for a couple weeks. So far I can say thT I do like them. They were just what I was looking for. Tall one is being used for garbage and smaller one I’m using for recycle of small paper products. That one is a bit small but they march so I’m going to empty often. They both fit nicely in pantry area and look good too.

For a sensor garbage can it's great. I keep my garbage can in the main walkway of my kitchen and it's enough annoying that it opens each time I go by that i keep it turn off most of the time. For my purposes, I should have just purchased a push pedal can.

Good sensor, opens quickly, easy bag removal and loading new one. Very convenient. Large opening. The small one uses the plastic bags from the supermarket, great for the bathroom. Uses 3 C batteries (2 in the small one), not supplied, pick some up brfore they arrive. Light weight, might not stand up in large or busy households. When my wife bakes or I BBQ/smoke we use it a lot, very convenient! I'd give it 5 stars, but, unfortunately the first one went bad in a few hours, Sam's Club replaced immediately, 2nd one going strong.

This is a sturdy, attractive stainless steel trash can. I didn't realize when I ordered that it came with a waste basket sized as well. Quite the bonus. Both have motion sensor lids. However the motion sensor on the large kitchen size can didn't work. I am still working on getting a replacement lid. The Nine Stars Group wrote back directing me to try a factory reset. That didn't do anything. Now I am waiting for them to send a replacement lid.

Very easy to assemble and clean and disinfect (with wipes). I like that it doesn't absorb odors like some plastic trash cans. I am caretaker for my 89 year old mother and it's really nice to not have to touch the lid every time i put trash in it. The little one is perfect in the bathroom and I love it for the same reasons as the 13 gallon.

I've been using this trashcan for about a month and I'm very pleased. So far I have not had any problems. Would highly recommend it. So easy to use when your hands are full. Just wave it over the sensor and it automatically opens. No fumbling with trying to find the footpedal or opening it with full hands. I'm anxious to see how long the battery and the actual mechanism last.

If this review was just for the big one, I would give it 5 stars. The tall garbage can works great and looks great. I love it. The small one looks great. It doesn’t do to well with the sensor. It stays open or won’t at all. Still works as a standard garbage cans.

I really wanted to love these, but the sensor is horrible. If you’re scraping your plate, or trying to throw something out and you take longer than a few seconds, the lid closes on you. This is a very poor design in my opinion compared to other similar smart cans. I’ve never had one that doesn’t detect that you’re still there before it tries to close.

I was tired of replacing our kitchen trash can and decided to look for a sturdier receptacle. I am very pleased with this one. It is attractive and with the automatic opening lid it is perfect for the kitchen. The smaller trash can that was included is a nice size for our extra bathroom.
