[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing we discovered they put the wrong filter in and the water and ice compartment. The water tasted nasty and so did the ice. I called LG and we discovered the problem was the wrong filter. They are sending me the correct filter now.

I really like the modern look of the unit and that was the driving force behind my purchase. Of concern is the ice-maker. My household is one person and the ice-maker barely keeps up with my needs. I’m not sure how it would do with a large household. I also find the ice-maker loud but it’s manageable. All in all I like the refrigerator. If possible I would purchase a larger model because freezer space is limited in this size but if kitchen space is limited this is a great option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello. Ice maker cannot keep up with just myself even after preloading it with ice from the store. Unfortunately there are other people in my house as well. Ice turn out about every 2-3 hours and they are small cubes. The doors are very low to the ground so you will scrape off the top of your feet if you don’t stop and think every time you open the refrigerator. Not what you should have to do while trying to get some breakfast out first thing in the morning. Nope. Ouch. I would like to return it but who has time for that. This fridge is a bust!

We are enjoying our new LG side-by-side that we have had for 2 months. The door is easily opened and closed. The overall look/style is smooth and sleek - there are no visible door handles. The beep signal indicating that the door has been held open for too long is a bonus.. We wish that the refrigerator/freezer was sold with extra loose shelf bins for the open shelves of the refrigerator freezer. The bins could help with organizing the contents on the refrigerator/freezer shelves. We like that the icemaker is integrated with the freezer door. There are enough ice cubes for our use.

BoughtThis refrigerator about a month ago. When it was delivered the kitchen cabinet was about a half inch to short. The hight adjustment on the unit would not go down as low as the opposite one. We finally fit it in with some trimming. Water delivery system spigot does not work well when filling water bottles. I often wonder if engineers test features such as this to see how they work/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much searching, we decided on this counter-depth fridge for it's stylish look and the amount of room it had. So far we really enjoy it. After having a french-door style fridge, we decided to go back to a side by side. I like that the in-door ice maker is on the freezer side, which will hopefully eliminate some of the issues that french-door refrigerators have with in-door ice. We like having freezer space at eye-level too. Our freezer contents are much easier to organize and easily accessible. The fridge has a lot of room too, especially for a counter-depth. I'm also impressed with the door cooling vents that keep door contents just as cool as the rest of the fridge. We opted for the platinum silver color, which matched our other stainless appliances.

This product has been terrible. 3rd lg fridge and the last we will own. The ice machine is completely inefficient for a family. It’s been replaced once already to remedy the issue. In 2 days it still doesn’t fill the ice bin. The tiny cube size definitely doesn’t help.

Refridgerator went out 4 months after purchase and took 3 months to finally get told I was being refunded. We shall see when I actually have the check in hand.

We bought this refrigerator and recently had it installed. We love the room in both the freezer and refrigerator. We are very happy with this product.
