[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had trouble with the ice maker from day one and can not get anyone out to the house to resolv. they tell us to watch a video and it works for an short ti,e and then gets jammed again. this is unacceptable!

I really like the modern look of the unit and that was the driving force behind my purchase. Of concern is the ice-maker. My household is one person and the ice-maker barely keeps up with my needs. I’m not sure how it would do with a large household. I also find the ice-maker loud but it’s manageable. All in all I like the refrigerator. If possible I would purchase a larger model because freezer space is limited in this size but if kitchen space is limited this is a great option.

It has a large refrigerator & freezer. The items can be easily reached & organized with ample shelves! It is very stylish & has a nice water/ice dispenser on the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my counter depth 23 cu ft LG for two weeks now and am very happy with it. In 6 hours it started making small ice cubes and dispenses the purified water quite quickly. The installer even noticed it. The door shelves are roomy enough to hold a a gallon of milk and all the bottles items. The only cons are as mentioned by other reviewers is the drawer pulls are at the bottom of the drawer which requires one to bend quite low to open the bottom drawers. The doors are only 1 3/4” off the floor so watch your feet! Overall, I would highly recommend this side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched appliance brands, and I am so happy I did. We needed a counter depth refrigerator at a reasonable cost and found this Side by Side. It not only met our initial needs, but surpassed them. It is very roomy, cools well, and the finger print resistive brushed chrome matches our other appliances.

We have had nothing but problems with our unit since the day it was delivered. This model has a design flaw, the water line runs behind the crisper drawer and freezes so you have no ice or water in the door. LG’s solution is to unplug the unit at night. I would suggest staying away from this model until the design has been changed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a year ago and it has performed as you would expect from a refrigerator-no functional problems. The only item we ran into was the push bottom on inside of the door area to activate water filter monitoring after a filter change. You need to press "firmly" on the button. The instruction booklet does not mention to push firmly. Service tech cleared that " misunderstanding up within a minute. We like the no hand doors on this model as we have a middle island and it gives a slightly larger area between them as well as a cleaner look.

Always had the filtered water inside, but love it outside. It is counter depth and looks beautiful in my small kitchen. The side by side is great. I am 84years old and just finished remodeling my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much searching, we decided on this counter-depth fridge for it's stylish look and the amount of room it had. So far we really enjoy it. After having a french-door style fridge, we decided to go back to a side by side. I like that the in-door ice maker is on the freezer side, which will hopefully eliminate some of the issues that french-door refrigerators have with in-door ice. We like having freezer space at eye-level too. Our freezer contents are much easier to organize and easily accessible. The fridge has a lot of room too, especially for a counter-depth. I'm also impressed with the door cooling vents that keep door contents just as cool as the rest of the fridge. We opted for the platinum silver color, which matched our other stainless appliances.
