We measured our space per LG instructions. We got the Refrigerator in, and it looked really nice. But after about a half an hour of being plugged in, we noticed the cabinet NEXT to the refrigerator getting awfully hot. The vent is in the back of the fridge which does not let the air escape. We had to pull the fridge out a half a foot just to let enough air escape to not get hot. The vent needs to be in the front on the bottom. Poorly designed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my counter depth 23 cu ft LG for two weeks now and am very happy with it. In 6 hours it started making small ice cubes and dispenses the purified water quite quickly. The installer even noticed it. The door shelves are roomy enough to hold a a gallon of milk and all the bottles items. The only cons are as mentioned by other reviewers is the drawer pulls are at the bottom of the drawer which requires one to bend quite low to open the bottom drawers. The doors are only 1 3/4” off the floor so watch your feet! Overall, I would highly recommend this side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing we discovered they put the wrong filter in and the water and ice compartment. The water tasted nasty and so did the ice. I called LG and we discovered the problem was the wrong filter. They are sending me the correct filter now.

We recently bought a condo that needed all new appliances. We decided on LG for the whole kitchen plus a new LG TV. We have beautiful kitchen cabinets that we hated to rip out so that a refridgerator would fit under them. LG had the solution and we LOVE IT! The water and ice on the door is awesome. The side by side feature works well - while looking like a hip quad door unit. Highly recommended appliance!

We have had nothing but problems with our unit since the day it was delivered. This model has a design flaw, the water line runs behind the crisper drawer and freezes so you have no ice or water in the door. LG’s solution is to unplug the unit at night. I would suggest staying away from this model until the design has been changed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my LG refrigerator a couple of weeks now and I am very pleased. I replaced an older model refrigerator that had lasted many years. This LG model looks great and makes my kitchen look more upscale and modern. I like the in door ice dispenser. It is circular and helps prevent ice from falling onto the floor while being dispensed. My family is small so the ice maker produces an adequate amount of ice but I’m not sure it would be sufficient for a larger family. I purchased the counter depth and while there is less space inside, it fits in my space perfectly. All in all this refrigerator is what I need but does not provide a lot of extra space. I would purchase again.

Very nice fridge, quiet, does what refrigerators are supposed to do, however the wifi to thin q app does not work even though there is a connect button inside. no indicator of connection, no led, no connect to ipad or iphone. App shows the fridge that I entered but indicates not assigned. Will not recognize wifi or bluetooth.

This refrigerator is not designed with flexibility in mind. The shelves are at a set height and cannot be adjusted. The drawers don’t open unless the doors are open all the way, so there are lots of scratches on the doors. The ice maker is very slow at replenishing ice. Using the Ice Plus option doesn’t increase production as advertised. The water filter is very difficult to replace. It takes a lot of strength to put in, and the plastic housing feels like it will break at any time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had now a few weeks no issues what so ever very spacious even though shelves aren’t adjustable they are spaced that don’t need to be adjusted door bins are large and very functional lighting is good really like the smaller ice cubes temperatures in freezer and fridge consistent to setting as far as noise quiet really quiet someone had posted when opening doors would hit their foot don’t really understand that for no problem here opening doors and hitting my feet like I said so far so good hopefully a year from now or 12 years from now it’s still operating with the five star rating
