I would have liked more freezer space but thus far it is trouble free

The compressor died in May—month #11. I have not been able to arrange service for two weeks

Plenty of room. Like the counter depth feature. Also like the no handle feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omce you fill the fridge its dark inside due to the fact there's only one light all the way at the top back of the fridge. The drawer compartments need to have there pull handles on top rather then the bottoms. To open the lowest drawer you need to be almost on the floor. Not well throughout.

Bought this LG unit about 6 months ago and, over the last 20 years, we owned a two other counter-depth refrigerators: a GE and Whirlpool. While the Whirlpool was more reliable than the GE, it too had its issues: the ice maker (as usual) and interior space. As for the latter, this is where the LG excells by comparison. By putting the electronics outside of the refrigerator's interior (on top of the unit and in the front), it leaves the interior nice a square with few or no bumps intruding on space. The large door bins are also quite accomodating - allowing for large soda bottles and all of the usual variety things like salad dressings, soy sause and what not. While the entire LG's 23 cu ft is only slighly more than the Whirlpool, its design makes the space avilable much more usable. It is, however, a taller box that required us to alter the cabinet above to fit the unit into its designated space. While the LG is spacious inside, we miss the smaller second drawer (of the Whirlpool) that was useful for cold cuts, cheese and other frequently-used items. Secondly, it the refrigerator side could be a little colder. Currently, it's set to 33 degrees (its coldest setting), but things like milk would taste better if just a little colder. Secondly, the ice maker only just keeps up with a family-of-four's use. At times, it necessary to activate the "Ice Plus" feature to top up the ice storage bin. On the plus side is the exterior design - it looks great and the traditional handles are not missed.

not so much a review of the product but beware buying a refrigerator from Sams Club. I purchased this one on 4-22-25 and the site stated it would be delivered by May 1. Instead, I am still waiting and now it will not be delivered until 5-8-25. The delivery company they use said they don't know why Sams Club makes these promises as it really is the date by which the refrigerator will be received by the delivery company and they have multiple items to deliver. Absolutely ridiculous as I would have gone somewhere else and got it delivered before this. Also, they charge your account the day you purchase rather than the day of delivery. Think twice.

Brand new fridge delivered 3 weeks ago. Works well and otherwise seems like a quality product but today the top glass freezer shelf spontaneously shattered. Upon opening freezer door, I discovered contents of the entire freezer covered in a million tiny, many invisible, shards of glass. Hundreds of dollars worth of food in freezer is a total loss. Hours of cleaning (and bleeding) and vacuuming later, we are still finding minuscule shards of glass I’m the freezer cavity and all over the floor. There was very little weight placed in the glass, no sudden change in temperature. It truly seems just to have shattered on its own, overnight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge in December 2024 and are enjoying it very much. There seems to be so much more space in the freezer than our previous model. We enjoy having the water and ice on the door because we drink a lot of water.
