Works great!
Have had this washer for about two weeks and it works great. The first time I kept looking in the window to see what it was doing. Was surprised at how little water it seemed to use. It took months for me to decide what to buy, but I knew I wanted an LG, and so far am pleased.
Hi Hope, thanks for sharing your experience with the WT7005CW. It’s great to hear the washer is working so well for you already. The low‑water usage can definitely be surprising at first, but it’s designed to clean efficiently while conserving water. After taking your time to choose the right model, we’re glad to hear you’re pleased with your decision. #LifesGood ❤️ If you ever need support, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com.
DOES NOT GET CLOTHES CLEAN
We bought this recently, and from day one it KNOCKS on the spin cycle, shakes the whole floor, does not shut off when unbalanced and thus shakes violently. Does not use enough water to get clothes clean, the clothes at the top NEVER GET WET. It also is very loud during both the wash and spin cycles. Compared to our previous LG toploader, despite that one being recalled it was SO much better than this. Never again will we buy another LG product. Taking this out to our backyard to throw a brick in it. It won't last that long. Goodbye LG, we are going to get a used machine now. TERRIBLE, LOUD, GLITCHY PRODUCT.

Not a great washer.
Worst washer I ever used. On a normal wash not enough water to even cover the clothes. Then if you use deep fill it switches you to another cycle and adds time. The normal cycle is useless. Takes longer to wash than my old washer. So much for efficiency. My husband thought he was doing something good. Worst thing he ever brought me. I don't like all cold rinse no choice.

LG has changed my mind.
I've had it for about 5 months, and I really like it. I did not think I would like one with so much technology built in, but so far so good. I washed a heavy sofa slipcover and had no problems. I was loyal to another brand for over 40 years, but now I believe in LG too.
Does not wash clothes properly!
I have had this machine for less than a year, not very happy with it at all. Clothes are not very clean, always detergent residue on clothing even when I use the Deep Clean option. "Normal" wash cycle does not clean clothes sufficiently, I may has well wash my clothes by hand!! I wanted to give it a 0 zero rating!!

I bought this washer a couple of years ago and now it wont turn on I've troubleshooted it and it appears to be the control board . Finding the replacement part is impossible . I enter the model number exactly as it is on the side and even at LG parts they dont have any results .

Waste of money
I bought this machine on 4-22-2022. After reading reviews, I thought it was a good choice. What a total waste of my money. This machine barely moves the clothes around. The clothes do not get fully immersed in the water. The water level is so low that you have to use deep wash setting every time if you want the water to cover your clothes. Even when you select the small load size or large size load, it barely puts any water in machine to cover the clothes. Machine starts wash cycle and clothes on top are still dry from when put in. Machine keeps spinning to detect load balance and adds water into the machine which extends wash time. It takes minimum, 90 or more minutes to wash one load. This machine has very poor agitation. Clothes do not get pulled under and around. Clothes stay in same position throughout wash cycle. Anyone with extremely dirty or greasy laundry will be disappointed because of the poor agitation. Sometimes I have a small load but I still have to select the deep wash setting to ensure water fills up in machine to cover the clothes. It's an over abundance of water for a small amount of clothes. I wanted to like this machine but unfortunately it is a major failure and falls short in performance especially with water level. I cannot recommend this machine.
We hate to hear this and will be happy to pass your feedback along to our product developers.^Sandy
Worst LG I’ve Ever Owned
WORST washing machine I’ve ever owned. I’ve worked with it for 2 months with no improvement. Purchased because I’ve had 2 LG washers in the past that I loved. Clothes come out with soap spots and dirty spots on them. Cut my e detergent in half of what is recommended. Per LG help support. Didn’t help. Tried adding vinegar, helped some but enough to keep from having to wash some loads a second time. I am so frustrated!

Refreshing Change from my previous washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG top-loading washer about three weeks ago. I wasn't certain if I would like the see-through lid, but as it turns out, I am perfectly fine with it. My husband, being a permanently wheelchair-bound paraplegic now for 44 years, can actually see the wash from his wheelchair without having to lift the lid and stuggle to reach all the way up to secure the lid. Our last washer served us well, but the new LG has features that were not on the last machine. One of these is the ability to sense how much weight is in the tub and the ability to shift the weight to balance the load prior to washing. The one thing I love about the washer is that it is programmed to predict how much to spin dry the load with the setting you select; additionally you can manually select a different setting for this. One downside (and I am understanding this is a requirement for all washers now to conserve water) is that you cannot change the water level once you select your wash setting. I am guessing this is a thing of the past. The upside is that I have found due to this, I am saving laundry detergent when compared to my previous washer, as the LG washer doesn't appear to use as much water for loads as I used for my older washing machine loads. The tub is a generous size. The time it takes to finish each wash seems to be longer than my previous washer, but with the first load I washed, the laundry seemed to come out much cleaner than before, it definitely was a noticeable difference. This could also be because of the programmed length of the wash. As mentioned before, when the washer selector is chosen for the type of wash you have, a digital timer comes on with an "estimated" time, the clothes are shifted around to balance the load and assess the weight, and the "estimated" time becomes the actual time on the display, then the cycle begins, more often the machine decreases the original estimated time. The agitator rotates in the middle, and the tub also rotates the opposite direction during the cycle. The washer is a lovely machine, and there are two safety features I like. Being raised as the daughter of a career veteran who was in charge of ground safety and earned a commendation award for his dedication to safety, I notice most "everything" when it comes to safety issues. The machine has a child lock, and once the machine is started, it locks itself until the cycle is over or you push the pause button. One other safety feature that may or may not be by design is that the top of the machine has rounded edges, not straight or 90 degree angles on the corners and on the top panel. So if someone was to bend over the machine, say to pick up laundry from a laundry basket, etc., and bump your head, you wouldn't hit any pointed (or sharp) corners. Have you EVER seen a product in which the information for the model and serial numbers are NOT on the bottom or back of a small or large electrical appliance? And you have to play twister to get to it? Not this one! There is a metal plate on the side of the washer with all information easily accessed. Great job! All said, this is the best washer I have owned in my "adult" life of 52 years! I have never purchased an LG product, but the next appliance that bites the dust in our home will be an LG.
