I like my new washer, the clothes are cleaner than my old machine. I'm not sure I like the control panel yet. I like washing in cold water all the time and don't like have to fool with buttons every time. I also don't like I have to watch the water level on small loads because it doesn't fill enough to cover the clothes. I called service and they won't come out to make sure it's running right.

Worst washer I ever used. On a normal wash not enough water to even cover the clothes. Then if you use deep fill it switches you to another cycle and adds time. The normal cycle is useless. Takes longer to wash than my old washer. So much for efficiency. My husband thought he was doing something good. Worst thing he ever brought me. I don't like all cold rinse no choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bundled the LG top load washer and dryer together a week ago. Control panel is confusing. Using the washer dials is waste. It doesn't dispense enough water. The water senses the weight of clothes and dispenses water according. Normal load button hardly covers the top of the clothes. I find myself manually putting water in the tub before starting the wash cycle to provide more weight to the clothed to fool the water sense. As far as the clothes dryer, the medium heat setting is ridiculous. For normal load, the setting will take well over hour.

I don’t think it’s all LG. Washing machines do NOT put enough water to wash clothes. Clothes on top do not get wet. So little water on rinse cycle that it couldn’t possibly get soap out of clothes!!! So dissatisfied and disappointed in machines made now. I want the old fashioned machines back. I have to wash and rinse multiple times and only using small loads! Forget washing a comforter!!

I love LG products. I loved my LG front load washer until the day it died. Because my husband grumped about leaving the door open to dry out the tub, I replaced it with the top loader. HUGE mistake. Although it is advertised as being able to wash the entire bedding set (sheets, blanket, comforter) in one go, it can't. Does it all fit? Yes, the capacity is huge, but any difference in weight between the items and the machine goes out of balance and either stops halfway through the rinse cycle or, worse, refills the tub and tries to balance through another rinse cycle OVER AND OVER AGAIN. One night I put a load in and, when I got up in the morning, it was refilling the tub yet again. Who knows how many times it had done it through out the night. My water bill was $20 higher than normal that month. Another problem is that the items come out of the washer MUCH damper than they did from my front loader and require about 1.5 times longer in the dryer than before. There is a "Spin Only" cycle clearly marked on the control panel but, upon reading the manual, I found out it only works for the front loader, where it is clearly not needed. So even though this machine is only about 6 months old I'm going to have to replace it. And I feel guilty about giving it to anyone, even for free, because it's such a poor machine!

Biggest disappointment ever! Only way clothes come out clean is if they go in clean! I’ve always loved lg products until now… this washer sucks! I hate it! But because it is a big appliance, my husband says we’ll just have to use it… ugh!!!! And I hate having no control… I can’t even pause it.without the water draining out, causing me to have to start from the beginning of the wash again…. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

I bought this machine on 4-22-2022. After reading reviews, I thought it was a good choice. What a total waste of my money. This machine barely moves the clothes around. The clothes do not get fully immersed in the water. The water level is so low that you have to use deep wash setting every time if you want the water to cover your clothes. Even when you select the small load size or large size load, it barely puts any water in machine to cover the clothes. Machine starts wash cycle and clothes on top are still dry from when put in. Machine keeps spinning to detect load balance and adds water into the machine which extends wash time. It takes minimum, 90 or more minutes to wash one load. This machine has very poor agitation. Clothes do not get pulled under and around. Clothes stay in same position throughout wash cycle. Anyone with extremely dirty or greasy laundry will be disappointed because of the poor agitation. Sometimes I have a small load but I still have to select the deep wash setting to ensure water fills up in machine to cover the clothes. It's an over abundance of water for a small amount of clothes. I wanted to like this machine but unfortunately it is a major failure and falls short in performance especially with water level. I cannot recommend this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that I've had my washer a few weeks I like it. The clothes seem cleaner and smell fresher. I had to get used to how the new settings are but it's good. The clothes take longer to wash but again cleaner

I exchanged our LG impeller model for this agitator version because it wasn’t getting clothes clean. This one STILL DOESN’T CLEAN!! There is always visible dirt left in our socks and visible/smellable deodorant left in undershirts. I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps; there is nothing broken or dirty or clogged, and I use the proper amount of detergent. I‘ve watched the cycle through the clear lid and found that even with the agitator and using different cycles (yes, “heavy duty” too), the clothes get moved around in one lump. This is bad bad bad engineering. It’s either that the size of the agitator paddles are too small for the size of the drum, or the agitation pattern isn’t correct to properly move the clothes around each other. I’m so upset with these LG washers!

WORST washing machine I’ve ever owned.  I’ve worked with it for 2 months with no improvement.  Purchased because I’ve had  2 LG washers in the past that I loved.  Clothes come out with soap spots and dirty spots on them.  Cut my  e detergent in half of  what is recommended. Per LG help support.  Didn’t help. Tried adding vinegar,  helped some but enough to keep from having to wash some loads a second time.  I am so frustrated!
