[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old washer with suspension rods and belt drive finally gave up on me. I never liked the machine as it was slow and noisy. My new LG Direct Drive/Agitator machine is 10 times the machine that I just replaced. This machine is quiet, and very fast. I am over the top happy with it.

My last washer did not have an agitator, I won’t make that mistake again and am glad I went with this one. My clothes used to get frayed and not as clean as they should in the last machine. I’m actually glad it finally broke for good. Now I have this LG and I am liking it a lot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my new washer. It is quiet and does a great job cleaning. The only feature that could use improvement is the soap dispenser, I have to dump the water from it before adding detergent for the next load of laundry.

Being older, there was a but of a learning curve with all the computer settings, but now find it very convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the whole set in August 2021. It worked good up until the first week of February. It made a loud noise & gave me the error code E6. I’m still without a washing machine now waiting on a LG service tech to come out.

I bought this machine a month ago, choosing it because of a Consumer Report account saying it was one of the best machines to buy. At first, I was frustrated because the thin manual I was given at purchase had insufficient instructions to let me know how to do anything but a normal load. I went online and watched some YouTubes to learn how to work the other features of my machine. In many ways, the buttons on this machine look more like a computer than a washing machine. For example, the instructions said to press "Pause" if a load got off kilter. Nowhere on my machine could I find the word "Pause" and I didn't know which button the manual was referring to. I learned online that the pause button looks like what is on my television remote for pausing a program. I think that if pictures were in the manual this would significantly improve the learning process to make this machine more user-friendly to the consumer, as these washing machines differ from other machines I have owned. So far, I am very pleased with how well it is cleaning my clothes.

I like this washer. It is very quiet. The spin cycle is extremely efficient to the point of cutting my dryer time down by half a cycle. I like the window lid so I can see what is going on. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is we are rural and our water is from a well. If my water pressure is low the washer error codes and I cannot skip to the next function. I have to restart from the beginning. I have learned to space out my wash loads to wait for the well pump to get back up to pressure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago. Replaced my LG Front Loader which was 15 years old. Decided to try a top loader because I liked the features. The washer is very quiet and has very little vibration on spin cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a small load the clothes just sit in bottom of tub. The agitator does not slosh clothes around. Had to Max fill to get movement. This machine should have a manual select for different water levels. I do not like the feature that tub spins before adding water. The clothes are spread to outer side tub causing the clothes to gradually get to agitator. the agitator should have bigger vanes for greater movement of clothes.
