Apple turnover

OMG!! These apple turnovers are so good I like to warm them up just a little bit and eat it with my coffee

So Good

Flakey pockets with a nice apple filling inside.  Just a touch of light sugar coating on face.  Nice snack that stores well on counter top.

Just add tea or coffee, great snack.

Have purchased the turnovers many times.  This time I was eating dough.. Some didn't have one ounce of apple,

Missing apples.

Good when re-baked 20 minutes @ 325*. A bit short on filling, which is a bit too green-apple-sour ~ needs sugar.

Needs work

Was not fresh. I noticed a dark spot in the center of the apples and it was molded. I inspected all the others and they all had mold.

They were not fresh they had mold in them

Do not recommend!   Hardly any filling.    Could not even taste the fruit.  The pastry was flaky but not a good ratio of fruit to pastry.

Highly disappointed!!

Will never buy again. They've cut back on the filling inside and raise the price. No one should buy this. It's a waste of money!

Up in price, down with filling!

Very tasty as dessert with a dollop of whipped cream or as an indulgent breakfast with some good strong coffee.

What's not to like?

Great turnovers!  The ratio of crust two apples is perfect.  It was a great Buy and I’ll do it again soon.

Apple turnovers

By the time the eighth turnover was going to be consumed, it was moldy with blue mold, and had to be thrown out.  This was about a week after buying the turnovers.  You want them to remain moist, but not become moldy.

The Members Mark apple turnovers are an excellent breakfast pastry. We wrap them individually in aluminum foil and put them in the freezer. When we want one we take it out of the freezer, remove the foil and defrost in the microwave. We the put them into the toaster oven and bake at 350F for 5 minutes. They come out like fresh turnovers from the bakery. While they are not so great just from the package they are absolutely wonderful this way. Highly recommend.
