My 98 year old Mom says every morning “where is the turnovers with my coffee?!” That is good enough for me as she would make them 5 or 6 times a year.

I like these turnovers, but sometimes the texture feels like a little humid or something like that. More like if they were from another day. Last time I bought them they were fine.

How can you call them apple turnovers when you only put one tiny piece of apple. Don't think I will buy again. I have been buying them for a while and the apple has been getting less. This is just plain awful.

a little chewy instead of crispy. was on sale yet rang up full price, didnt notice till I was 45 miles back home. was not going to drive back for 2$ but will pay more attention next time. bet they make a ton charging people full price and them not noticing.

It seems that no one is capable of making an honest apple turnover anymore, and this is another perfect example of that fact. Don't let the 4th product picture fool you. I tried two of these, and neither one of them had a single chunk of apple in them, much less over flowing like Sam's would have you believe. It's blatantly false advertising. If you choose to try one yourself, let me save you some time. Go ahead and tear the middle out, including the folded edge, and toss it in the trash. Don't worry, you won't be throwing away any filling, just bread. What you'll have left are the two edges where the fold comes together, and it contains a slight smear of some type of apple-flavored something. Just enough to make the edges stick together, because apparently using real apple filling requires sacrificing baby unicorns. Oddly enough, despite the absence of filling, the bread is wet and soggy. Possibly from not being allowed to cool before boxing. Just terrible. Offer half the number of turnovers with actual filling for the same price, or else feed this nonsense to raccoons behind the store - if they'll eat it. If you want a decent apple turnover, I recommend Pepperidge Farms in the frozen foods section of many grocery stores. About the same price as this 8 pack of garbage, they come 4 to a box, and take about 22 minutes at 400° in the oven.

had it delivered and found a bug baked into the turnover. called my local sams. they denied it was their fault because when you order for delivery it comes from their warehouse. not just their everyday items and non perishable- no. their "fresh baked goods" as well. never again will i buy this or any bakery item
