Very good turnovers. Flaky pastry, chunks of apples in the filling, just what you expect in a turnover. I have tried others which had no solid pieces of apple. There is no icing drizzle on top which I prefer because the icing is too sweet. These turnovers are just like the ones grandma made.

Huzzah! Apple turnovers where’s my coffee?

The Members Mark apple turnovers are an excellent breakfast pastry. We wrap them individually in aluminum foil and put them in the freezer. When we want one we take it out of the freezer, remove the foil and defrost in the microwave. We the put them into the toaster oven and bake at 350F for 5 minutes. They come out like fresh turnovers from the bakery. While they are not so great just from the package they are absolutely wonderful this way. Highly recommend.

Great turnovers

flaky, cooked to perfection.  only issue is where are the apples?  hardly any apples very disappointing that they used so little of the apples, since it is APPLE turnovers.  mostly dough very little apple.  as an previous restaurant manager I understand that CORP can pressure managers to lower food cost, but anymore and they will just be dough turnovers.  Why do these corporate officers forget that this is where their money comes from.  They squeeze and squeeze the managers till the product is no longer worth the purchase to customers.  sales drop and then they blame the managers again, when in reality they were the downfall of the product.

where are the apples

Plastic pieces in the Apple Turnovers.
These are really good when you heat them up in the toaster oven.
The BIG problem is that it had plastic pieces in it.
I first thought it was part of the Apple core that surrounds the apple seed but they are too large of pieces plus when I washed them they are clear so I confirmed them to be plastic.

Where is the apple filling? Purchased these yesterday and they had barely any apple inside. Very disappointed would not recommend.

Apple turnover not good

had it delivered and found a bug baked into the turnover. called my local sams. they denied it was their fault because when you order for delivery it comes from their warehouse. not just their everyday items and non perishable- no. their  "fresh baked goods" as well. never again will i buy this or any bakery item

Dont know what died in this turnover that was baked into it.  I know I wont be purchasing these anymore.

By the time the eighth turnover was going to be consumed, it was moldy with blue mold, and had to be thrown out.  This was about a week after buying the turnovers.  You want them to remain moist, but not become moldy.
