Needed this little unit while waiting on part for central air repair. Easy to set up and cooled my bedroom easily. Didn’t need to drain any water while operating in the cool setting; was concerned since other reviewers noted having to drain but I think that is in error. I live in S Texas and it is very humid and still no water to drain as it likely evaporates itself out in the cool setting.

So far so good. A little noisy but definitely keeps the heat down. I’m unsure about having to dispose of a water tank but haven’t had to do that yet. I’m assuming it would let me know. That is one thing I would find annoying but haven’t ran into that issue yet. Otherwise it was easy to set up and plug in.

this little AC works great. good for my small apartment. it does put out a LOT of water, you will have to empty it at least daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on how long you run it. but it does the job and keeps my room nice %26 cool. I like that it has wheels so it's easy to move around

This air conditioner was for a large bedroom, my husband had it out of the box and installed it in the one window in the room. He had it up and running in less than 15 minutes. Everything needed was inside the box with easy to follow instructions and it really cooled the room temperature down super fast! If we decide to buy another unit for downstairs home office, we definitely would purchase the same unit.

So we have always not had good central air on our second floor and it gets HOT. I just had surgery and am stuck in bed and the heat was killing me so we bought this. The install took like 20 minutes but it was figuring it out not because of work. And it started cooling the bedroom immediately. The noise is lower than the box fan I was using. We are actually going to get a second for son who is living with friends in college this year and they decided to rent a house with no Air conditioning. It js heavy but luckily I have sons and they said it wasn’t so much as heavy but large. 10/10 recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for! Easy set up and working perfectly in the room it was purchased for. My situation having Casement Windows was easily solved by MARTINSON MANUFACTURING with a plexiglass insert to vent the unit. I recommend both this A/C and the insert if you don’t have standard windows.

Perfect to use if your air conditioning is broken. Perfect to use by itself. Perfect to use a a supplement to AC in a room when the temps are 100+ . It cools a 12 x12 room fast to 68 -70 degrees with the door shut within 20 min. If the door is left open 9 -10 inches, it cooled the room, not to the set temperature, but helped to cool the dinning room.living room and hallway. It is perfect for 1-2 rooms. My understanding (dont get upset if i am wrong) media is a chinese company that makes some whirlpool products and some whirlpool parts. There is the background for the quality and function of this product.

it was heavier than I thought. I was hoping to bring it up and down the stairs. At 60lbs I'm unable. But in the bedroom, at low fan, it cooled the room from 81deg to 74deg in 20 minutes .

Out of the box inspection I noticed that this specific model has that metal screen that’s integrated to the door latches which is a big flaw due to the screen holes being too big of a gap and will not catch any dust, so there is no real filter placed inside or any aftermarket or factory replacements. I tried Jerry rigging a filter for the top, the same style mesh used in other ac units but it started to suffocate the unit and it got warm so I kept it the way it is. For the bottom I used a different type of filter to keep dust/hair/debris out and just duck taped it on and left the top open for enough airflow (I did this with my previous unit and lasted 3yrs with no issues), it minimized cleaning maintenance so I didn’t have to keep opening it up and pulling out wads of dust and hair from inside. Opening the bottom compartment there was internal damage which I fixed with a few automotive tricks. It runs good so far, but only 3hrs into the run time and it drained almost 2gal of water. I use a 5gal water jug from Walmart and opened a hole at the top to drain the unit while it’s running and it makes it a lot easier for dumping the water when it gets too full. Overall it shows decent potential and hopefully it lasts as long as our previous one that came from Sam’s Club as well. Note that humidity will determine the condensation drainage from the unit, Hawaii is on and off so my previous unit would sometimes drain 8-12oz running 8hrs straight, but some days like now it’ll almost fill the bucket within half the time. Be very cautious and watch your unit regularly to avoid overflowing. Or as another review suggested, lift the unit further off the ground if possible and strain the water into a bigger bucket if you don’t think you’ll be watching it regularly especially overnight when you’re sleeping. we did not get to install it because from the pictures we did not realize you needed a hole or window to run the hose out. Landlord would not let us install
