Works great!

This was an absolute lifesaver. Our central air went out a week ago and we bought a brand new window unit, not a lick of cold air ever came out even after letting it sit. Our home was 85 degrees inside. We got this from Sam's, so easy to install, turned it on...instant cold air. We put it to 66 and it's been that way for 5 days, saving our sleeping. Emptying is so easy and apparently does not have to be done often. My hhusband emptied it daily but it was minimal drainage to empty. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Will never do a window air unit again. This brand and quality is amazing.

This AC will work well......depending on where you live.....NOWHERE on the box or instructions show a bucket or tub are needed for additional drainage in the South Eastern USA where humidity is at higher levels than the desert. It was good that the mobile app notified us that we DID indeed need to install addtional hoses for the condensation drainage....one hose was provided, but the 3/4" hose adapter drainage was not provided. It will stop cooling until drain lines installed into buckets....it DOES explain that in the manual, AFTER purchase.....so, I would highly reccommend this if you DON'T live in the South Eastern United States.....unless you want to add 2 additional hoses for drainage. I recommend this AC. It’s smaller than most which I like and still works great and gets my entire living room and hallway cold.

Cooled the house down with no problems. In Maine we don’t have air cause most the time we don’t need it.

Ran for a few months no issue. Then started P1 error and have drained it every couple of hours for weeks, called midea and did all the steps. Error cleared for a few hours and now won't stop throwing error. Getting full refund

It’s blowing cold air which is great, but: 1) it’s extremely loud and makes a nasty rattling noise when the compressor kicks on. I had a comparable portable a decade ago that was so much quieter and kept an area twice the size of my current area cool. For this reason, 2 stars. 2) it can’t cool 350 sq ft. as advertised It’s only cooling about 1/2 of my 358 sq ft living area (2 open concept rooms) after being on all day. 4) extremely heavy to fight to get it out of the box without tipping it. Wish the packaging was a little kinder for small ladies to unpack. So, I am hoping it lasts the summer. I have a gut feeling that will be the extent of its life. They don’t make these units the way they used to.

Junk. I got this less than two months ago and I have to set it up high so it can drain into a five gallon bucket overnight. In eight hours the bucket is over half full. How can you design an indoor unit that needs to drain and have the drain two inches from the floor? Then it started putting out more heat than cool about a week ago. It's 83 in my house but 72 outside right now. The hose leaks hot air where it attaches to the unit (it's done according to instructions) because it fits loosely. When I cut it off it smelled like something burnt. Filters are clean, the hose goes straight to the window with just the slightest curve upward. I recommend that nobody ever buy this trash. Oh, the digital display used to work all the time, now it only works when I change settings, then cuts out. It worked ok for a month and a half before acting up. Just long enough that you can't take it back to the store.
