One week of use is not enough time to make a totally accurate assessment. But, so far, so good! Both machines have lived up to their positive reviews.

Really loving this washer! Wish we had gotten a Samsung washer from the beginning. My only small issue is how long the cycles are. However, I look at it as the clothes are getting cleaner :) It is also nice not to have to go to the laundromat to do big blankets. The tub is big enough to handle that too.

The lid is soft-close, so it's not made for those with anger issues who like to slam their lids (not me). It is much quieter than my previous washer. It's got a nifty, easy to read display (with cool little noises) that looks like they were almost made by Star Trek laundry engineers. Also, the lid is see-through , so I spent a couple of minutes watching it wash. A person is supposed to be able to connect it to the wifi, and I'm currently working on that—as soon as I'm done with this review. Ta!

It's efficient, quiet, high speed. I could set it and monitor it from my phone via the Samsung Smart app. It has a very big capacity. I can load all my heavy quilts or pillows and they come out clean and ready to dry.

First off, the capacity is incredible—I can easily fit king-sized bedding or massive loads of laundry without any issues. The cleaning performance is top-notch; my clothes come out looking brand new and even tough stains are completely gone. I'm also really impressed by the speed of the cycles, which get everything fresh and clean much faster than my old unit. Another huge plus is how quiet it is; there is virtually no noticeable vibration or shaking, even during the highest spin cycles. Finally, the smart connectivity is a game changer. Being able to check the status on my phone and getting an alert when the load is done makes managing chores so much easier. A fantastic, well-rounded appliance!

Unfortunately the washer is deeper instead of wider so reaching to the bottom as a 5'2" woman is a bit difficult. Other than that the capacity it holds is great!

One of the worst purchases I've ever made. I wanted to try a top loader machine again after many years using a front loader. One of the reasons I went to a front loader was to be able to wash quilt some comforters in. I liked the large capacity of this washer and the fact that I could wash the heavier loads in it. Unfortunately, the clothes came out with strange stuff and debris on them (several times). I'm alone with no kids at home so there weren't any funky stains on any of my beds or clothes. I also didn't feel like the comforters got sufficiently wet or soaked in the water. But the worst part was when I put powdered Borax in the washer, it never fully dissolved. Even when I tried dissolving it in hot water first, there would still be some powder on the comforter/ blankets when the washing cycle was complete. Basically, I felt like my some of my laundry came out dirtier than it went in. One feature I did like on the washer was the ability to add extra water to the loads. I did that quite frequently when the top of the clothes were still dry and not covered. One of the other reasons I went with this brand was the good reviews. I also bought a range/oven from this brand and I'm having issues with it as well. So far, customer service has been nice to deal with but the problem is not resolved yet. I will be doing a separate review on that. My contracted that was here working on some remodeling in my laundry room, said he does not recommend Samsung for appliances. Gratefully, with Sam's Club 90 day return Policy on appliances they sell, I was able to return both the washer and dryer and I purchased an LG washer and dryer from them instead. I had LG previously with my front loader and I loved them. I love these new ones as well. I THINK SAMSUNG SHOULD STUCK WITH MAKING PHONES AND ELECTRONICS, NOT HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES!!

Never buy a washer / lg appliance from Sam's Club online. The delivery date it shows when you order is not even close to when you will receive. We have been waiting for two weeks for just a single update on ETA from our order. No updates, called corporate three times, they have no updates either. Its "pending" shipping from the vendor then once it ships (nobody knows when) it goes to a 3rd party to contact you to schedule a time of delivery. The process is fine - the no communication unless I reached out is not. The fact that they can't even give you an eta is not OK after sitting around my house all day when my order and the Sams App all show will be delivered on "X" day so I plan around it. No calls, nothing. Mind you, I ordered the washer 4 days prior to that date, I waited. Now two weeks later, still crickets from the vendor and Sams Club has no answers. This is all a big joke. I HIGHLY recommend just going to Lowes or Home Depot and grabbing one in person. The extra savings from Sams online is NOT worth the hassle.
