The Manhattan Media Fireplace Console came packaged well, however, it is of poor quality. There are some cracks and unfinished wood. The color is not brown as stated and extremely dark; more like expresso. Before I ordered it, i went to the store to see it, however, it was not on display. There was one in a box with a picture on the outside, but the color shown is much lighter and not the true color. I asked if it could be opened on top just to see the color, but was told it was against store policy. If I had seen the true color at that time, I would never had ordered it. If you can’t display the item, at least you should have samples of the colors. I’m extremely unhappy with the console.

Excellent quality and beautiful piece of furniture for any decor. Researched several others and they didn’t come close to this piece.Fireplace looks very natural and is very quiet. Looks identical to picture which normally is not the case. What is best is that it does not need to be put together….just take it out of box and plug in!
