I bought this acne wash and have tried it for 3 days and my skin is so itch and irritating. The first time I used it my skin felt kind of tingling and I thought ok maybe it's working clearing out my pours drying out my breakouts but today, day 3, my skin looks horrible. I look like a reptile, I guess I may be having an allergic reaction to this stuff. I only used this product on chin area where I have most of my breakouts. But for my this acne wash was no good, will be returning it the store where I purchased it.

I have very oily skin and over the years I have had issues with acne. I have tried so many products and none have seemed to work. I dont understand all the negative reviews! I have been using this for at least 10 years and never had a single issue! and I have dry AND sensitive skin! Of course you need to moisturize when using any acne product as they all have the tendency to dry out skin but this works well for my body acne too! I love neutrogena and trust them with my skin!

My son uses this wash daily. In his teen years, he struggles with acne a little bit. He is a college athlete and now 20 years old. He still deals with breakouts occasionally from sweat and his helmet. This is the only face wash that we have found that actually works for him. It washes the sweat right off and kill any bacteria from his helmet or anything like that. His skin is always clear now.

As an esthetician, I have only seen skin become incredibly dried out and irritated by this product. It strips the skin of its natural oils, and can cause irritation through repeatedly using salicylic acid every day. Yes, the price point is good. But the product does more harm than good over time.

Neutogena Oil- Free Acne Wash has been an essential part of my daily skin routine for the last 2-3 years. Because, it has a salicylic acid (2%) which has been helping me a lot to reduce my acne and eliminates oil and unclogs pores. It has a nice and light smell. Before, I used it I had very oily skin but now much better so nowadays I use it only once a day. In my experience, it's really beneficial for oily skin.

This is a great acne choice from the drug store. It works really well at dissolving makeup, no residue and doesn't dry out skin excessively. Salicylic is way better for skin than benzoyl peroxide. I switched to curology because it was better for me but this is great as an inexpensive acne solution.

My daughter uses this face wash and loves it. She says her face never feels tight or dry but she can see the difference in her hormonal breakouts when she runs out and has to switch temporarily to a different cleanser. Highly recommend if you have a teenager or if you have hormonal breakouts!
